I love the Lord; I work full-time (will retire in about 5.5 years); have two wonderful sons who are 35 and 33 years old), have a terrific daughter-in-law who is married to my older son, I have one step-daughter whom I love dearly and see often. I like my job - work at the UofA. I LOVE my children and would like to have grandchildren some day. I am looking for a church home; I have been a Christian since my teenage years, but know that I have so much to learn still. I have three great siblings who are located all over the country; I grew up in Pittsburgh and have family there that I try to visit at least once a year; I have few friends, but the ones I have are very supportive and dear to me. I have a dog named Willie who is a lot of fun - and sometimes a pain in the neck, but I love him dearly.
My Ideal Person:
I'd like to find someone with similar Christian believes as I have. I'm looking for an HONEST, caring, loving individual who also loves the Lord. Looks are not important to me. I like someone with a sense of humor - you'd need one to be around me. I can be a silly goose! I only have one thing the I can not tolerate and that is someone with a problem with alcohol consumption. I've lived through my tough things in my life, and that is one that I never want to experience again.
