Hi! My name is Shirley and I am looking for a friend. I work part time for Quest Diagnostics Laboratories. I participate in a Nursing Home Ministry. Actually what we do is visit the residents in the nursing home . There are 4 Moms and 10 that go to the nursing home once a week and share the gospel, sing a few hymns from church, usually some sort of contest and questions of the week. We call our ministry "Share and Care". Our group shares with the residents, and they share with us. I attend church on Sundays and Wednesdays. Church is a big part of my life. I have a married and a in college. I go to the indoor pool about 3 times per week to exercise. I need to keep my body working and in good shape. I enjoy Christian music as well as country music and contemporary music as well. I am taking piano lessons.(it gives me something to do in my spare time. I come from a big family. I am one if nine . I am #3. My mom & dad had 6 girls, then 3 boys. I was raised Catholic, but became a born again believer and I had a friend that introduced me to Christianity. It is much more personal than my catholic beliefs. That is what has brought me closer to Jesus and His word. Maybe we can talk some time.
