Hello! I am a country girl at heart. I love cooking, watching movies, tv, and sports. I am a HUGE WVU and Steelers fan!!! I also love the outdoors, camping, hiking, or just picnicking in the park. I'm currently attending a wonderful, music-filled church. I am also currently working towards answering His call for me to be a youth pastor.
My Ideal Person:
I am looking for a nice man. I don't really know what else I can add. I have had my fill of the "not-so-nice" boys, and I am ready to find a mature, caring, man who will be a partner in all areas of life. I will say, I truly believe that a sense of humor is the most important quality a person can possess. Laughter is the language of the soul.
Favorite television shows:
Simpsons, Family Guy, King of the Hill, Law and Order (all),
anything on Food Network
Favorite films:
All of the Harry Potter movies, the Lord of the Rings movies,
Labyrinth, Mists of Avalon
Favorite musicians or bands:
Bon Jovi, John Tesh, Montgomery Gentry, Beastie Boys,
Kelly Clarkson

Please describe your faith. How important is your faith to you?
Very important.
Which Scripture verses are most important to you?
Philipians 4:13 "I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me"
1 Corinthians 13:1-13 (English-NIV)
1 If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal.
2 If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing.
3 If I give all I possess to the poor and surrender my body to the flames, but have not love, I gain nothing.
4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.
5 It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.
6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.
7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
8 Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away.
9 For we know in part and we prophesy in part,
10 but when perfection comes, the imperfect disappears.
11 When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put childish ways behind me.
12 Now we see but a poor reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.
13 And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love
Why is a Christian relationship so important to you?
Because I want a lasting relationship.
Where did you grow up? Where have you traveled? What are some of your favorite places to visit?
I grew up in Newell, WV...I haven't been too many places, Columbus, Oh...DC...Bethesda, MD...all over WV...Muncie, IN, I lived in Pittsburgh for a few years...I like going pretty much anywhere.
What are your favorite activities both at Church and outside?
Not currently attending church, (waiting for God to lead me to the right one)...but outside church, well, one of my favorite things to do is go to Barnes and Noble, grab a cup of coffee and browse, I love movies and TV, hiking in the woods, driving around just anywhere, flea markets, mini-golf, just about anything!
What is your day like? Describe your daily routine.
Get up and out of bed (or more like groan and fall out of bed) go to work, come home, cook dinner, and take care of things aroung the apartment. I read, watch TV, work Sudokus, write, paint my nails, whatever I feel like that day. Kind of boring really :-)
What are some of your personal and spiritual goals?
I would love to be in a loving relationship with a good Christian man. Right now, I know that is what is mostly consuming my heart, so for now, I'll leave it there.
