It is so important to me to live according to God's Word. I have a wonderful church fellowship and greatly love singing on the Worship Team (I also play cello). Over Spring Break, I am traveling to Mississippi to assist in the hurricane relief efforts. Serving God and others is of great importance to me.
Update! Just returned from a week in Pass Christian, Mississippi! It was awesome to serve the people of the area, who so need to see and feel the love of Jesus. The area, literally, looks like a third world country. The homes are destroyed, perhaps only the cement foundation slab remains. We cleaned out debris from yards, and gutted out houses which have set, since the hurricane occurred 7 months ago! It was a smelly, moldy mess, but praise God, we did it! I marveled at the level of appreciation by the people. We were thanked profusely, given hugs constantly. The love of Jesus was abundant! To top the whole trip off, I sang on our Worship Team at what is called, "Katrina Kitchen", where the workers and the local people come to eat. What a blessing to praise God among the tears of joy in our hearts! God is so good!! Our group is planning on a return visit to work the same area this summer. Want to come along??? Here are some of my favorite verses, as I minister through mission work: Hebrews 13:2 - Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for by this some have entertained angels without knowing it.

I do keep young by exercising and living a healthy lifestyle. In addition to teaching 6th grade, I also coach elementary basketball and high school track. I'm a nationally certified track and field official.
My favorite vacation spot is anywhere near the water: ocean, river, lake, pond...nothing more romantic than an evening walk along the water's edge. God has blessed us with his beautiful World to love and enjoy!
Should also mention I have some ties to the Nashville music scene. I'm working in the Christian Contemporary Music scene as a booking agent for a local artist. I meet with Universal Music Group in April.

Puts God #1 in his life! Lives his life according to God's Word, genuine inside and out.....Must enjoy keeping in good shape, as you'll need to keep up with me! LOL! And...if you love music, sing, play guitar(or any instrument), that's an added bonus! Also, if mission work in the US and abroad interests you, then I would definitely invite you to join me in serving Jesus and his people.  )
