My Ideal Person
A virtuous woman... who can find? I am striving and will continue to strive to be that virtuous woman described in Proverbs 31. I'm not perfect and never will be but, if you are looking for a friend… a woman who is strong, yet compassionate, independent, but not dominant, a help-mate, a friend, a companion then, look no further. I’m pretty simple, very mellow and a little shy. A fun-loving, God-fearing woman who’s easy going and a good-listener. I love to laugh and enjoy engaging conversation. I believe in being proactive, optimistic, positive and DRAMA free. Everyday my goal is to be better than I was the day before. I love quiet evenings at home, cooking, watching movies, playing board games, chillin' with friends and traveling.

A great sense of humor is very important. Someone who knows who he is and WHOSE he is. I love an adventurous spirit, a love for life, someone who is ambitious and self-confident but, not cocky. I love spontaneity and imagination. Someone who is able to laugh and know when to be serious. A caring, romantic man who wants a one on one relationship, real friendship and can give and receive unconditional love. I'm kinda old school... Looking for a true Gentlemen? A King awaiting his Queen... someone who is complete in HIM because I'm not looking for someone to complete me.. but to complement me. What happened to integrity, morals, values and character? For me, intelligence and wit are as appealing as a great smile and broad shoulders; combine that with a man who has faith in God, filled with the Holy Spirit, a prayer warrior AND can make me think and laugh… EXCELLENT! A man who shows that chivalry is not dead and can lovingly challenge me to be a better person. In order for any relationship to work it must be based on a firm foundation... Faith in God, Prayer, Communication, Friendship, Honesty and Trust. I believe that everlasting love is possible, we just have to be patient, wait and listen to that still, small voice known as the Holy Spirit. I’m not looking for my soul mate although, I DO believe in them and it will be great when God reveals him to me one day. If I sound like your kind of friend, let me know...

Please describe your faith. How important is your faith to you?
As I've grown and matured in Christ... I've learned that God is my source and He is in control. I submit to Him and His will. It does no good no matter how badly you want something, if God isn't the overseer then it will not flourish. I admit, it hasn't always been easy to wait on the Lord but, I am constantly working on being all that God wants me to be. Lord knows, I'm not perfect but by the grace of God, I get up every morning and thank God for all that HE has done and is doing in and through my life. I'm His vessel, it's not about me... it's about Him.

Why is a Christian relationship so important to you?
Christ is my source and without Him, I am nothing. It is imperative that I be with someone who feels the same way because faith must be the foundation of the relationship. If you don't have a solid foundation then everything will crumble. 2 Corinthians 6:14 - Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness?
