My Ideal Person
I am REAL about my relationship with Jesus and I expect the same from the man whom I will choose to marry. In addition, I will not settle for anyone who is not honest with me from the very beginning.

Please describe your faith. How important is your faith to you?
I am grateful to be saved by the blood of Jesus and strive to honor God in my life daily, which is not a breeze, but His sustaining grace keeps me going day by day.

Which Scripture verses are most important to you?
2 Cor. 12:9 -- His grace is sufficient for me!!!

Why is a Christian relationship so important to you?
No brainer! I was dating this guy who claimed to be a Christian man. He had me fooled for the 2 years I was engaged to him. It became all to obvious that he was just saying what he knew I wanted to hear. He also slept with some woman while he was planning to marry me. It's nothing short of AMAZING GRACE that I found all this out BEFORE I said "I do"!!!!! Now you know why honesty means so much to me. If I and the man I marry are not ONE IN CHRIST, I would miserably fall out of step with God and that is the WORST place to be.

Where did you grow up? Where have you traveled? What are some of your favorite places to visit?
I grew up on the coast of North Carolina. Back in high school and college, I made it to New York City, Disneyland (FL), Atlanta, GA,and Arlington,TX. I attended college in the Appalachian mountains! There are still so many places I wany to see!

What are your favorite activities both at Church and outside?
Signing praise & worship songs. Singing too! Sign Language adds a new dimension to praising Him! In addition, I love to play hymns on my flute. After the music, I love to open His word while I EXPECT God to speak to me every time.

What is your day like? Describe your daily routine.
It depends. I work a 6-hour or 12-hour shift in the sirport. In the evenings, I'll either go to band practice, watch tv, put in volunteer time in the fire dept., or go out with my friends.

What are some of your personal and spiritual goals?
I want to worry LESS and trust God so much more than I already do! That will make life more fun than it already is! Eventually, I will become a law enforcement officer, get married and have children.
