I'm an "idealist." I strive to be genuine--the me that God intended for me to be. // I am a hard person to get to know because I am deep and intense but have a calm, warm, gentle and quiet demeanor. I care passionately for a small circle of "family" whether family or not. I like to socialize in small groups or one-on-one. My favorite conversation is of imaginings and ideas and not of cabbages and kings. Facts, though as a librarian I was responsible to find, verify, and substantiate them, have little impact on me rather like logic. You may find me illogical on occasion but never irrational. I make rational choices based on an internal set of values that come from areas of experience. If I am forced to use logic I can with fair ease, though it is not my first choice. Truths, not facts, are what I deal in, collect and use and share and try to retain. Wisdom is a goal and what I want is to be a sage in my old age which is wishful thinking, I'm afraid. On the lighter side, if anyone is going anywhere, just let me get my shoes on and I'll go with them. I'm always ready to go somewhere. I like colors with names like cyan and magenta and cadmium lemon. When I get interested in something I wish I had every book on the topic, like right now I'm interested in personality typing, specifically MBTI or Jungian types. I've just seen that this site uses MBTI for personality typing. I am an INFP.

My Ideal Person
Christian first. Then a feeling vs. a thinking person somewhat. Then someone who can talk about an idea or in abstract terms (about philosophy or theories or compare the themes of two movies, etc.). Then someone with southern manners and eagle scout virtues somewhat. Finally and mostly someone with unconditional love and lots of love to give and who is able to receive love and be trustworthy.
