"---how can one keep warmalone? Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves." // I am known around my co-workers and friends as easy going and patient. I don't let a lot get under my skin---well at least not for very long---life is too short and precious for that. I do have a temper that I try to rule over but when I loose that battle I can be pretty verbal and steamy. How's that for sugar coating? When I go over the line I usually repent quickly and always that repentance goes first and formost to God for I know that it is Him I sin against, Him I have insulted most of all. And than I will go to whoever I have wronged.
Jesus is central to my life. I belong to Him. Purchased with a very high price. My first loyalty is always to Him and everything I do has God at the core and corner stone. I believe He is sovreign and that He has my life safely in HIs hands. I put my trust in Him in all things.
I live in a city now and believe I am where I am supposed to be right now---don't know what the future holds or what God's plans are for me. BUt my actual preference, would not be in a city. I like country. To watch cold fronts come in and thunderstorms build on the horizon. I like to be able to see, far and wide and have space around me. I like ponds and trees and barns and pastures. I like dogs. Have two of them.
On a date I like dining out and conversation and if it's warm, being outside. I read a lot and am in the process now of redecorating a house which I find challenging, creative and theraputic. Very calmingand satisfying.
Probably the most interesting thing about my life so far is the variety of it. I have lived many places and experienced many things, but now I am a home body. I would like to be married. I like sharing all of my life, having mutual dreams and goals and building with a husband. However, I am also very comfortable with myself and have no problem being alone if that is what God wants for me. It is just that two really is better than one as long as the two are the right two.
My Ideal Person
The man that would be right for me would be first of all a man dedicated to God. One who is faithful and trustworthy, reliable and strong because he is built on the Rock.
I want healthy of course, and "good-lookin'". I go for the rugged out doorsy look. A man who is compasionate and one who will protect me and one who loves animals. Kindness and integrity are a must.

Please describe your faith. How important is your faith to you?
My faith is very important to me, it is the foundation on which my house is built and His name is Jesus.
Which Scripture verses are most important to you?
There are too many to name. I like the Psalms, I like the book of Nehemiah, I like it all. But I guess my ALL TIME FAVORITE is Psalm 23. I sing it in the mornings as a song of thanksgiving to God and comfort and assurance to me. It lowers myblood preasure and calms me down, gets me ready to go into the day with the proper perspective: I am His. He directs my paths. He sets my course.
Why is a Christian relationship so important to you?
Well--- a house divided against itself cannot stand.
Where did you grow up? Where have you traveled? What are some of your favorite places to visit?
I grew up in Kansas though I lived in Tennesse for a year when I was two. My family moved a lot, living mostly in Wichita but for awhile in Protection, KS and seven years at Cheney. The Cheney years (on a farm) were my favorite. I moved to California when I was 23 and lived there for thirteen years before moving back to Kansas. I have been to both Canadian coasts and quite a few of the states. I like the desert. I have lived in Minnesota and Iowa, and I really liked Iowa. I daydream about moving to Maine or South Carolina but I do like Kansas----just not the CITY
