My Ideal Person
Firstly I would say (and I'm sure most people would agree) that there is no one perfect person. The challenge is to find someone who meets all the important criteria and that is unique for all of us. I feel very strongly about developing a true friendship first and building upon a foundation of mutual respect, admiration and genuinely liking the other person for who they are.

I would like to meet a partner who is also very physically active (would love to have a workout/running partner) and takes care of themselves in that manner. Someone who has either older children than mine or relatively close in age would be ideal because I would really enjoy doing family related activities with my partner. My most favorite thing to do is travel and this is an important similarity for me to find in someone else as well. I am fairly adventurous (am a certified scuba diver, etc) and prefer to travel without an intinerary. I tend to avoid tourist traps and would rather check out things that I have researched ahead of time and find interesting and/or just be very spontaneous.

I like men who are both introspective at times and also very outgoing in personality to match mine. My ideal partner would be someone who is optimistic in their outlook and can definitely find the humor in stressful situations that life seems to throw our way at times. A great sense of humor is key, as is intelligence and integrity. I also would want my potential partner to be focused on their children (put them first) and close to their families for that always seems to be a positive indicator of someone's true character. Trustworthiness and honesty....well that goes without saying. Lastly, for me chemistry and mutual physical attraction are also essential ingredients to a successful relationship.
