My Ideal Person
I am looking for a man who is honest, kind and compassionate. I would like to get to know someone who enjoys some intellectual conversation, but knows how to keep it light and humorous. I like a man who is interested in what is at the heart of a woman.

Please describe your faith. How important is your faith to you?
How can mere words describe something so transcendent? My faith in God has gotten me through many dark and shadowy places in my life. My faith has kept me alive.

Which Scripture verses are most important to you?
There are so many that I love but the first that comes to mind is the Sermon on the Mount. I am moved to tears everysingle time I read it.

Why is a Christian relationship so important to you?
I am twice divorced from two men with whom I was not equally yoked. The first man came to church with me twice, on our Wedding Day and our son's Christening. The second man, I think, really tried, but his pride is his downfall, he lives in the world and not in Christ. If there is a next time for me, a spiritual relationship must come first.

Where did you grow up? Where have you traveled? What are some of your favorite places to visit?
I was born in Biloxi, Ms and lived on the Gulf Coast much of my life. I moved to Hattiesburg to finish college and stayed. The Coast was never the same to me once the Casino's moved in. I have traveled to the Bahamas, England, Hawaii, Honduras, Peru and Barbados. My favorites were England and Hawaii.

What are your favorite activities both at Church and outside?
Music. I love music and singing, everything from old standards to Southern Gospel to Contemporary Christian. The Holy Spirit really moves me through music.

What is your day like? Describe your daily routine.
Nothing adventurous, Getting my girls off to school, tidying up around the house. Reading some,spending time in quiet meditation. I share joint custody with their father and when he has them I work nightshift at the hospital where I am an RN, so I sleep during the day.

What are some of your personal and spiritual goals?
I personally want to continue to grow in my relationship with Christ and if God wills it, meet someone who can share in that life with me.
