59 year old Woman in Humble, Texas, United States Looking For: Men

Profile for NewOrleansCharm
I am a genuine faith filled mother, sister, friend, and professional. I love networking and keeping in touch with my family and friends all around the country and world. My philosophy is to work in "good faith" in all I do. I am a former athlete with a good figure and looks, thank God! I am health and moral conscious but don't mind eating "fun" food and gossiping a little. My family and friends would categorize me as fun loving, considerate, and compassionate but can be focused, strong, and decisive.

My Ideal Person
My gentleman would like to slowly share conversations and activities related to faith/family/friends/profession/interests. He would like to mingle with others or would be happy having quiet simple moments with me. He needs to be self confident enough to enjoy an active and independent but old fashion lady with southern charm. He needs to be the fun, athletic type that takes care of himself & me. Him being "progressive" in sharing his wisdom and faith with my teenagers would definitely appeal to my reverent heart and intellectual mind.

Please describe your faith. How important is your faith to you?
My faith has been a central part of my life since I was a little girl. I don't see my religion, the traditions used to engage with my relationship with God/Jesus/Holy Spirit (the trinity), as a road block in truly knowing my Lord but instead as a spring board in my intrigue into the reasoning(past) behind the traditions/the history of the world at the time of my Lord/understanding the mysteries of our heavenly Father that is slowly revealed as I grow my prayer and faith.

Which Scripture verses are most important to you?
John 6, 54-56 "Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him on the last day. For my flesh is true food, and my blood is true drink. Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me and I in him." 1 Corinthians 3, 12 "We have not received the spirit of the world but the Spirit that is from God, so that we may understand the things freely given us by God." 1 Timothy 2, 14-15 "Further, Adam was not deceived, but the woman was deceived and transgressed. but she will be saved through motherhood, provided women persevere in faith and love and holiness, with self-control."

Why is a Christian relationship so important to you?
Christ is the only way to God. His example as a human & the holy spirit help guide me when conteplating decisions in my life, taking on challenges, and using the graces given to me from the Holy Trinity. My motto: "If you work in good faith, you have nothing to worry about."

Where did you grow up? Where have you traveled? What are some of your favorite places to visit?
I grew up in the Uptown Area of New Orleans in a neighborhood with a corner grocery, kids played ball all day in the street, the neighbors guided us as much as our parents did. I have traveled all over the US, a couple of areas in Canada and Mexico. Some of my favorite places/experiences....spiritual retreat in the wooded compound where an Order of Sisters lived, going on a hiking trip up a mountain in Kuaui, relaxing on a beach in Florida Keys, and beginner skiing in the beautiful Colorado Mountaiins.

What are your favorite activities both at Church and outside?
Favorite activities at Church..... Participate in Mass, Adoration of my Lord God in the Eurcharist, working with the Youth Group, social & communities activities with Church (Fairs, Chicken Sunday, Youth Christmas skit, Thanksgiving basket making, Mardi Gras bead drive,etc....)....all this as much family as possible. Favorite outside of Church activities..... Spending time with my kids, working out at the gym, taking care of my house, going to activities all over town, taking care of myself, oh, splurg for items that compliment someone I know, my home, or myself, espeically because of a special occasion.

What is your day like? Describe your daily routine.
Up at ~6 am, get teenagers awake for school, share master bathroom with teenage girls who are invading my closet/jewelry box/make up....get dressed, all of us grab breakfast, drop off teenagers at school, go to work, either get status from peers and/or team members/give status to customer/ attend meetings/ think outside the box solutions/ balance project budget-schedule-resources, get cell phone calls from teenagers asking me permission for something or I am calling them to make sure they made it home, go home where kids are waiting, fix dinner, check to ensure homework is getting done, do a couple of chores or grooming tasks, talk with the kids, talk with family/friends some days, go to bed about midnight.

What are some of your personal and spiritual goals?
Personal Goals 1) To help my kids become spiritual adults 2) To keep physically fit and healthy. 3) To continue enjoying my job as a Project Manager or other upper management position or CEO of my own business. 4) To find my soulmate so I can enjoy life emotionally/spiritually/physically to the fullest. 5) To start traveling the world more, especially Europe, Asia and Australia. Not really Africa, other than Egypt. Spritual Goals 1) To reveal God / Holy Trinity to Family/Friends/Acquaintances through my words/actions/prayers. 2) To go to Medjugoria/Vatican/Lourdes 3) To study the Bible and other spiritual artifacts with God revealing the wisdom. 4) To truly grow spiritually with my soulmate in loving God and being an example.
