One of the more interesting things I've done in my life is... travel abroad. I spent 3 months in Israel living and working on a Kubbutz. The communal lifestyle was interesting in that people had a choice of how much communing they partook. For instance, they could prepare their own meals in their private homes, or they could dine at the community cafeteria. They could raise theri children in their own homes, or allow thier children to live in a children's dorm. All jobs were rotated yearly, inlcuding the Kibbutz leadership. I have also traveled to Germany, France, Canada, and different parts of the US. I am seeking an encourager, companion, best friend and spiritual partner to share the rest of the journey. I am well traveled, enjoy cultural events, the Arts, theatre, etc. Also like to go antiquing, rummage sales, finding treasure in unlikely places. I love dogs, am usually smiling, laughing and enjoying the simple things. I'm loyal, caring, forgiving, and trusting. I tend to shrink at the mention of exercise, but love activities like walks, trail hikes, yard work & gardening. How about you?
My Ideal Person:
A kind, gentle, joyful, easy going happy kind of guy. He enjoys being involved in his church, is a praying man, and is the first to volunteer. He has tremendous inner beauty, a big, caring heart. He likes helps out around the house, and knows how to handle a screwdriver and hammer. He is responsible with money, pays his bills on time, doesn't keep a credit card balance, and knows how to save for rainy days and vacations. He enjoys his guy time, and let's me enjoy my time with the girls. He is slow to anger, and can forgive and make up after disagreements and disappointments. He enjoys family gatherings, bar-b-queing, and entertaining friends at home. He is an answer to prayer!

Please describe your faith. How important is your faith to you?
I was very active in the church I was membered in in Arizona. I was a youth leader for almost 15 years, and lead some of the singles activities. Now that I've moved to Nebraska, I am currently searching for a church home in the Omaha area.
Which Scripture verses are most important to you?
Whatever you do, in word or in deed, do as unto the Lord, and not mearly for men.
Why is a Christian relationship so important to you?
Like mindedness.
Where did you grow up? Where have you traveled? What are some of your favorite places to visit?
I grew up in Connecticut, went to colege and worked in Massachusettes for about a decade, moved to Arizona, then 14 years later moved to Omaha. I lived in Israel for 3 months in 1991. Travel has included Germany, France, Canada, Israel, a lot of the US. Loved the castles of Germany, Bamff in the Canadian rockies, the archeology and biblical history of Israel.
What are your favorite activities both at Church and outside?
Church suppers, walks, antiquing, thrift store treasure hunting, auctions, dining out.
What is your day like? Describe your daily routine.
Up at 5:30, exercise the dog for half an hour, get ready for work. 8-5 daily schedule. Come home, exercise the dog again (we usually walk to the golf course and play frisbee). Come home, have dinner, watch TV, tidy up the dishes. In bed around 10pm. Weekends involve lots of home improvement projects!
What are some of your personal and spiritual goals?
Thank heavens this is the last question! Personal goal to be a reflection of Christ's spirit.
