My Ideal Person
I'd like to meet someone who is witty and interesting. I like people who can express themselves without disregarding the opinions of others.

I've recently joined a gym and enjoy doing something good for my body.

My friends and family want me to meet a nice guy. That's why I joined The Big Church. There aren't any single guys at my church.

The nicest guys I know happen to be married to my best friends. I don't want to settle for a relationship that isn't as good as theirs. I look at them and I see friendship, trust, love and respect.

That sounds like a good start for what I'm looking for so I'll stop there.

Please describe your faith. How important is your faith to you?
My faith is very important to me. I like to have answers to questions and the Bible is the one place that I can go to and find answers. It helps me in everyday life.

Which Scripture verses are most important to you?
The Ten Commandments. If we would all just follow them, life would be so much simpler.

Why is a Christian relationship so important to you?
I can't see "eye to eye" with a man who isn't a Christian.

Where did you grow up? Where have you traveled? What are some of your favorite places to visit?
Born in Tallahassee,FL. Grew up in southern Ga. Have lived in Houston,Tx.; New Orleans,La.;Atlanta ,Ga. and now Tennessee. Have been to California, Arizona, Nevada. Have been to Canada (had cousins there) Have been to Thailand and China (long story)

What are your favorite activities both at Church and outside?
I love to sing in the choir. I've always liked to sing and dance. Didn't say I was any good at it.

What is your day like? Describe your daily routine.
Getting myself to work and my son to school are top priorites every morning. Since my schedule varies, he sometimes takes the bus ( I still have to make sure he is ready for school in every since of the word). I roll out of bed, start the coffee pot, let the chinchillas run around in their balls, start some laundry, start up Roomba, then wake my son up, feed the dogs and try to talk them into going outside. If I don't head straight to work, I head to the gym. I always have a long list of errands to take care of on lunch breaks and days off. We're casual about meals. We usually eat at home. I try to have plenty of healthyfood around the house. Apples and bananas don't last long. My son is into eating protein so I'm always finding some new way to cook chicken. After school is snack/mealtime. Homework. Then either the gym or choir practice. Oh yeah, and we bathe once in a while.

What are some of your personal and spiritual goals?
I have managed to surround myself with friends who are strong spiritually. If i meet the right man who is also strong spiritually, that would be great. I want to instill my values in my son. I would love to help others. I volunteer but feel a void in that area. I just hope that it all comes together and that I find myself helping others in "my old age".
