Hi! Thanks in advance for stopping by and taking the time to look at my profile. I would love to formally introduce myself, but it may be a little too soon for that just yet. But my real identity lies in the One who created me, in the God who formed me and calls me His. I am a follower of Christ. By saying this, I in no way claim to be perfect, because I know for a fact that my flaws are far too visible. It simply means that I love and trust the Lord, because He believes in me like no one else, and my life is His. It is my constant prayer to be used by Him in any and every way He wants to, and may He be glorified through it all!
I love to laugh, and to make people laugh. I think laughter is one of the most beautiful sounds in the world, and it's free! I love sharing Jesus with anyone and everyone. I love my church – it is truly my home away from home. I love spending time with family and friends, having amazing conversations with people, and being with those who are passionate about the things that they believe in. I love dark chocolate, shoes, music, hugs, the beach, love letters, cherries and journals. I love taking long walks, freshly picked daisies, having picnics in the park, sitting outside and reading a really great book, and getting new perspectives of the Bible from others. I have a passion in my heart for working with kids and teens – their childlike faith is absolutely humbling. I'm working as a payroll assistant for Levi Strauss & Co. right now, but my dream is to be a high school teacher someday, and share my penchant for literature. I love words, whether it's using outdated ones that nobody ever uses anymore, or making up my own. I am a firm believer in using correct grammar. I take it one day at a time, and trust that the Lord will take care of me, no matter where and when I am in life.....this is me in a nutshell, kind of. If you want to know more, just ask!
Also, if you happen to be in the world of my space, look me up sometime, I'm known there as meimers. Feel free to leave messages and/or comments.....I love to get 'em! Thanks for stoppin' by for a peek! I wish you the best of luck, with faith, love, and life. May your day be blessed!
My Ideal Person:
He has passion…for everything! – life, love, and most especially his faith. He glows with the love of and for the Lord, inside and out. He is my best friend. He makes me laugh, even when I don't want to smile. He celebrates the small things as much as the big things. His smile touches my soul, and makes everything better and brighter. His trust in the Lord is strong and everlasting. He believes in me and gives me wings to fly. He is compassionate, loyal and trustworthy. He holds my hand, and lets me lay my head on his shoulder. He respects me, protects me, challenges me. He prays for me and with me. He feels like home. He knows that even though he is royalty in the eyes of his heavenly Father, he is here not to be served, but to serve. He knows that the biggest, best and most important part of him died for his shame and then rose again, triumphing over death.

Please describe your faith. How important is your faith to you?
My relationship with God is my most prized possession. Without God, I am nothing. He is the very reason I exist, the very reason I breathe, the very reason I am standing where I am at this moment. His grace and love fills me up everyday and I am so thankful He allows me to have a relationship with Him.
Which Scripture verses are most important to you?
I have many, but for the moment...........PSALM 34 - I am so loving this psalm right now. I get such incredible comfort from reading it. How wonderful it is to praise the Lord, both through the good and the bad. To seek Him is to be radiant with joy, no matter the circumstances in one's life. Sometimes I forget that even when I don't say anything out loud, my Lord knows exactly what's in my heart and is there to help me. He is ever so faithful. "Oh, the joys of those who take refuge in Him!" How amazing it is to know that if we seek refuge in His arms, we will be the most joyful we could ever be. To be reassured that, as hard as it is to always feel peaceful about life, if we seek to be embraced in His love, we will be in the best place we could possibly be in.
Why is a Christian relationship so important to you?
I believe a relationship that has God as the foundation is probably the strongest earthly relationship there is. To have God as the center of your relationship means that you both trust Him completely. To be with someone who loves the Lord above all else is a rare and precious thing - someone who will put God first, always and forever. As Christian partners, with the same beliefs, values and morals, you know you can count on one another for encouragement and support.
What are your favorite activities both at Church and outside?
I just love going to church in general - love the atmosophere of being in God's house, serving and praising Him. Church is just so much fun! I love small churches, because you get to know your brothers and sisters in Christ more that way. I loved teaching Sunday School at my old church and seeing how God opens the doors for these young lambs to know Him deeper and deeper each day. It's definitely a blessing and privilege to be used by God as an instrument to be with these kids, and it is always so humbling to see their unwavering faith.
I also love to help the church reach the community and those in need. There's nothing quite like rolling up your sleeves and helping people who just simply want to know the Lord. Once, I went with a group to a hotel in downtown L.A. that was filled with drug addicts, alcoholics, rape victims, the abused, etc., and we gave them food and talked about the love of Jesus. The positive response we got back was not only surprising, but humbling and uplifting as well.
