I am a single mother of 3 sons, 2 still at home. I work full-time and keep busy, but still have time for a special man in my life. I think I am intellegent, stable, hard-working, generous and attractive. I have many interests and am usually willing to try something new. I am a doer rather than a watcher, most times. I like to be out there exploring and learning. I'm interested in keeping healthy, eating right and exercising (but not overly so :). I like to read, watch movies, go to sporting events (football and hockey being my two favorite sports) going to fairs and festivals, or just traveling the countryside. My favorite places are warm and near the ocean. I love all kinds of music and usually have something playing.
My Ideal Person
I would like a man who is willing to be a true friend and partner. Someone that is willing to enjoy the goods times and work hard through the bad time - because they are both going to happen. Someone who wants to be the other half of a team. I like to be around active people and would like someone with a sense of adventure and the heart of an explorer. I need someone young at heart because I have young boys (ages 11 and 14) that keep me going and into all kinds of things. And, of course, I need someone that genuinely likes kids because I am a package deal. I am also looking for someone honest, sincere, trustworthy with a little ornery thrown in. I like to play.

Please describe your faith. How important is your faith to you?
My belief in God and trust in Him is very important. I want to be the person God wants me to be. However, like most of us, my human nature makes me weak and I am not perfect. I am not obessed about reading the Bible and learning verses, but like learning more about the nature of God and what He wants from me. I talk to God daily.
Which Scripture verses are most important to you?
none in particular. I have a few written down that I refer to when I am depressed about something or distressed.
Why is a Christian relationship so important to you?
I think believing in Christ and God is a way of life. It gives meaning to life and directs the way we live. Someone coming from that same perspective would mesh well with my life.
Where did you grow up? Where have you traveled? What are some of your favorite places to visit?
I grew up in central Ohio and lived here all but 6 months of my life. I have been to many "hot" spots in the US, but not close to all of them. There are many yet I would like to see. I have been to South America, northern Canada and many islands in the Carribean (not spelled correctly, I know) My favorite places to visit are where it is sunny and warm. Not that others don't hold interest and I would gladly travel to - but I like SUN
What are your favorite activities both at Church and outside?
learning, listening to others, exploring
What is your day like? Describe your daily routine.
Get up, get kids to school, get to work, come home, fix meals, get homework completed (and any misc activities that the kids are involved with), do a little cleaning and laundry and go to bed. That is my weekday. Weekends are mostly spent sleeping later on Saturday, enjoying a leisurely breakfast and doing housework or shopping in the afternoons. Sometimes the kids and I will go to some activity or event for fun.
What are some of your personal and spiritual goals?
Spiritual goal is to learn as much as I can about God, His word and be as close as I can to the person He wants me to be - no matter what my desires are.
Personal, be the best Mom I can be and raise my sons to be respectable, honest, caring, God-loving men.
