My Ideal Person
i am looking for a man who places God first in his life, above everything else (including work and money), and whose desire to serve God in whatever he does is his motivation for living. preferably someone who speaks spanish, and/or is hispanic, but i don't discriminate. the Lord knows who i need, and who He wants for me. a man who wants to work for the Lord, and who has a servants heart. someone who i can talk to about the Lord, and do Bible studies with. and it wouldn't hurt if he had a tattoo!!!

Please describe your faith. How important is your faith to you?
my faith in my Lord and Saviour Jesus is extremely important to me. i realize where i would be now if i did not have Jesus in my life (and i probably would not be on this earth). i am constantly and eternally grateful to the Lord for leading me to Him at an early age, and i strive to honor and glorify Him with every fiber of my being, all the time (and yet i know that this does not even come close to the honor and glory that He deserves, especially for all He's done for me).

Which Scripture verses are most important to you?
i love a lot of Bible verses. i wish i could memorize the Bible! (i mean the whole, entire thing). some of my favorites are Jeremiah 29:11-13, Romans 12 ("therefore, i urge you brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God - this is your spiritual act of worship. do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is - His good, pleasing and perfect will. for by the grace given me i say to every one of you: do not think of yourself more highly than you ought, but rather think of yourself with sober judgement, in accordance with the measure of faith God has given you..."), the whole book of James, Colossians 3:1-17, Philippians 1:21 (what i have in spanish on the back of my neck), Ephesians 4:31-32, Philippians 4:4-8, 1 Timothy 4:12, Hebrews 10:19-26, 1 Peter 3:3-6, John 15:1-17 (especially verses 5, 7 and 8), John 13:34-35...i could go on, but i'll spare you!

Why is a Christian relationship so important to you?
because if i were in a relationship with someone that didn't love the Lord, i would pull my hair out of my head! haha, for real... okay, two reasons: 1) God said so, and 2) everything that i do, i do for the glory of God (hopefully), and to spend my life with someone who cannot understand why i do what i do, and therefore cannot have any desire to do it with me, is just nuts!

Where did you grow up? Where have you traveled? What are some of your favorite places to visit?
i grew up in a small town in ct. i've been to venezuela (on a missions trip), and to bolivia twice (family trips). within the states, i've been to california, arizona, florida, and most of the east coast. my favorite places are warm and dry (in general), especially arizona (i want to retire there), and i also loved bolivia and venezuela, and i would like to go to any other country in south or latin america (to visit, do missions, or live)

What are your favorite activities both at Church and outside?
well, at church i work with toddlers/preschoolers, elementary/middle school aged, and youth, so i guess you could say i love kids of all ages. i would love to work in an inner city, with kids of all ages, after school, stuff like that. i also teach a hip-hop class for a couple youth group girls at my church. other than church, my favorite activities include: playing with my son, dancing, reading, bowling, playing pool, chilling with my friends, listening to music, going to concerts.

What is your day like? Describe your daily routine.
i get up early, i have to be at work for 8 or 9, depending on the day. then, after work (i get out between 1 and 4, also depending on the day), if i have class, then i go there, or i run errands, or go home to clean or do schoolwork, or pick up my son from school. if i have time, i'll go work out or to aerobics. my schedule varies based on the day, but it's almost the same schedule every week.

What are some of your personal and spiritual goals?
i have many, though i leave it ultimately up to the Lord. i would like to finish my associate's degree (what i'm working on now), finish my bachelor's degree (go back to my awesome Christian college in pa), get remarried, have more kids, work in ministry or missions for the rest of my life (in some form, at least), read the entire Bible in a year, memorize lots more Scripture, be able to help a lot of people (through using my spiritual gifts of serving, mercy and giving), work with kids, become 100% fluent in spanish, maybe get more tattoos (i just got two more last month, and i love them, and i'm not sure if i need any more now!).
