Hi. My name is Tarren, and I am 23, living in North Central Pennsylvania. There is so much to learn about me, that it's hard to put it all into paragraphs. I guess, I can just give you a nutshell overview though. I hope that will be enough that you may want to at least strike up a conversation.
I have a dream/hope/goal of becoming a published author someday. I love to read and, after a very long writing hiatus (yes, I do believe in Writer's Block), I'm slowly starting to get my muse back, with the help of our Lord above.
I have just recently started attending a new church. I wasn't able to go to church for almost a year and a half because of my job---I always had to work sunday's. But now, I have a new job and by the grace of God, I have my weekends off, and I am right at home with God on Sunday's. I am even in a small group during the week for Bible studies.
I admit, I've always been a "christian." But it's just been recently, in the past few months, that I have really finally comprehended what it means to not just be a christian, but to live the christian life, and not just pray to God, but to have a living relationship with him. And that is the most awesome feeling! But, I have a long way to go still.
Another one of my dreams and hopes is to become a mom. Please do not let this scare you. I love , and someday, I'd like to have a couple. In the past, I have met a lot of nice guys, but when they find out that I want a family, they run away.
The first thing you will learn about me is that I am more family orientated than money/career orientated. I would be lost without my family. Although we have our moments, and things are rough, they are still a blessing to me.
I will tell you up front, I am not skinny. I am, clinically, overweight, but not obese. So, if you are interested, please don't judge a book by it's cover. I feel the Lord has given me a kind, caring, loving, compassionate heart for a reason.
And as for internet dating, I have done this before, but it was on my terms, not the Lord's. So, I'm giving this one more shot to see if the Lord is going to work through this. I mean, who says the Lord can't work through the internet? But, I want it to be God's will, not my own, that I meet someone else who will serve Him as well.
As of right now, I work in the Direct Care Field working with MR (Mental Retardation) . It has it's day where it can be completely and utterly challenging, but then there are days when it's worth it.
I am also a Creative Memories Scrapbook Consultant.
My hobbies and passions include: My growing relationship with the Lord, Reading, Photography, Scrapbooking, Writing, and of course, my Small Group (everyone of them which is just truly incredible and dear to my heart).
My Ideal Person
In a christian partner, I believe I would be looking for: Truth, honesty, love, kindness, (I don't like it when people are mean just to be mean or spiteful). I would like someone who knows when to be a gentleman, but also knows when to loosen up and have fun. Somone who is willing to pursue a growing relationship with the Lord in him, and with me, so we can pursue Christ together. Someone who believes in the power of Prayer and Hope and Love. Because Christ emobodied all of these, and through those we can emobody him!
