My Ideal Person
I'm looking for someone who wants to take the time to get to know each other before getting too serious in developing a relationship. However, I don't think I can do the "hold off on all physical contact til you're married" philosophy. If you are the man for me and we both know it, I want to be intimate with you but just not go all the way til I'm your wife.

Please be romantic. You don't have to buy me expensive things. In fact, don't. It really is the thought that counts. Love notes. Little surprises. It's stuff like that that makes me go head over heels. I like poetry and music too. I don't care if (you think that) you're a terrible poet. Go for it.

I like going out on dates but my real reason for being on the site is to find someone who is interested in marriage but either A) does not want kids or maybe wants to adopt a boy later on, and I'm looking for someone with the same goal.

When it comes to physical health, I exercise once in a while but I'm trying to find some kind of sport I'm into. I like dancing even though I'm a total klutz. I might try yoga. I would like my potential mates to be at about the same fitness level. I don't want to sound superficial but I really like muscles. Please be able to pick me up. (a whole 115 lbs) If you have a bit of padding but with lots of muscles I'm a big fan too.

I like my dates to be assertive in decision making. YOU'RE the man! Wear the pants! I am pretty traditional in that area. I am subservient to you, the man. Though I'd love you forever if you like to help with the cooking.

My feelings on children are...they are all right, but I don't think I want any. I might consider adoption later, but my first choice is not to have kids.

cultured: I don't care if you are an art snob or know all about fashion or cars or whatever. Just have something you are passionate about. Besides Jesus, too, I mean. I'm not at all saying God is not the most important thing, but I need someone with other things in his life too. I love literature and language and writing stories and music, for example.

adventurous: let's do something crazy just for the sake of doing it! Even a 1-hour "road trip" to some truck stop for milkshakes can be an adventure. Just be motivated to get out of the routine and do stuff!

old fashioned: CHIVALRY, WHY DID YOU DIE???? If you, kind sir, can revive it, you shall capture my heart. Writing poems, opening doors, kisses on the hand--just to get you started.

modern: if we were in love, would you be weirded-out if i were in the bathroom while you were using it? Please don't be. Also, I don't mind (and in fact really like) PDA (not the electronics you nerd public displays of affection)--within reason, of course.

I'd like a man with personal qualities such as... loyalty, honesty, passion, responsibility, motivation, determination, endurance, persistance, logic, muscles , compassion, kindness, consideration, strength, imagination, sensibility, a good sense of reality/plausibility, the ability to comfort, dedication, the ability to plan and stick to plans, willing to compromise if i am.

The people I tend to be attracted to are dark-haired (usually...not that important though), physically and mentally strong, not afraid to speak their mind even if it is controversial, able to take care of themselves (though I will support you) and a woman, are firm in their beliefs and determined, do not give up easily, logical and realistically-grounded, somewhat outgoing but not ladies' men...in fact if you're a little shy that's fine too, not afraid to open up after a bit, fun and uplifting to be around and show affection and that they need me, like spending a lot of time together, exclusively.

I know there's chemistry between my date and I if...you seem excited about me and can't wait to get together again, even touch me (but don't take it too far too fast, buddy) If your eyes get that light when I look at you and smile, then something's up

Things I want to (do/accomplish) in the future include...possibly studying/teaching english in europe, teaching/living on the northwest coast or the new england area, visiting prague, writing a bestseller, sleeping in a hammock with the man with my heart, going to phantom of the opera live on stage, working on a storyboard for a video game, getting a phD, staying up all night playing xbox with ya....
