Christian woman who thinks that love is the most important thing in life. // I am a born again, dyed in the wool, saved by the blood Christian. God has taught me (the hard way, of course) not to judge others and that only he knows what's in people's hearts. I try to live my life by the golden rule - do unto others as you would have them do unto you - and I find that I am just not happy with myself any other way. Consequently, I have been betrayed by a lot of people who I thought I could trust. Still, I would not change who I am or how I behave. I have no hidden agendas - I do not play games - what you see is what you get and I am just hoping that there is a sincere, loving person out there somewhere who can appreciate that kind of honesty.

My Ideal Person
I am looking for someone who is NOT self-righteous, judgemental, or holier than thou. I have no time for hypocracy or for playing games. I want someone who is secure in themself and in their faith. I am not someone who traditionally "preaches to the choir" and I think that God's work is done in tiny, seemingly insignificant kindnesses every minute of every day. I want someone who is passionate about what they do and what they believe - no matter what part of life that is - but I do not want a zealot. I have always been sort of a rebel and a little revolutionary and I believe that is exactly what Jesus was in his time. That does not mean that I am a crazy person who does crazy things in the name of God. I have met a lot of people who have used their "religious" beliefs to justify a lot of terrible things in the name of God and that really scares me. I just want somebody who really "gets" the fact that God is LOVE and that the reason we are here is to love Him and each other - that's the ultimate bottom line.
