Please describe your faith. How important is your faith to you?
I tell ppl that my faith is integral to my being. The Holy Spirit is so intertwined with my soul that it is like a necklace that has been tangled up -- impossible to separate.

Which Scripture verses are most important to you?
I love many of them, but Romans 8:28 has gotten me through many circumstances that I didn't understand. It helps me hold on to my faith like a bulldog.

Why is a Christian relationship so important to you?
A relationship where Christ is front and center is the only way that each person can feel completely confident in themselves and each other. I want a man that puts God first and is the spiritual leader of the home.

Where did you grow up? Where have you traveled? What are some of your favorite places to visit?
I was born and raised in California. I have never left the U.S. -- well except for a quick trip across the border into Tiajuana. I have traveled to many of the states and would like to explore more of the U.S.

What are your favorite activities both at Church and outside?
When I'm out and about, I like camping and hiking; going to the beach; a weekend in the mountains; bike riding; evening walks; seeing a movie; dining out; Christian concerts (Spirit West Coast rocks!) -- just about anything is wonderful when you are with ppl you love and enjoy. But with all of that said, I love being at home and that is where I spend most of my time. As far as church, I work in our Senior High Youth Group. It's called "Whatever" and is based on the scripture verses Philippians 4:8-9.

What is your day like? Describe your daily routine.
I get up, get ready for work; drop my son off at school; hit the office from 8 to 5; hit the gym a few days a week on my way home; sometimes go to ceramics class; sometimes go for dinner; sometimes see a movie; then im in bed by about 11... and it starts all over the next day!

What are some of your personal and spiritual goals?
I am embarking on a new chapter in my life with my kids entering the last years of being at home. This is a sad time for me as I love having the kids around. I feel an urging by God to seek more service to Him. I am currently a youth group leader and a board member for a Christian School. I also run the kitchen for an annual missions trip to Arizona each year. I am sure that God has more for me as I enter retirement.
