I'm a native Texan. I am intelligent, very well read, and interested in almost everything. I enjoy new experiences and new people. I have a good sense of humor and am a good conversationalist. I graduated from seminary a year ago and, starting in January, am pursuing my Ph.D. I love music - live is best - but CDs are good too. I sing with a semi-professional group (classical) and enjoy live theater, movies, dining out, and cooking at home. I'm a very good cook and an excellent baker, but I don't do outdoor cooking. I love to eat it, I just don't do it. If you are a grilling expert, all the better. I also enjoy reading (which is good because I've been in school forever), surfing the Net, and storytelling. I'm trained as a Christian counselor, and I'm good at it. I enjoy teaching. I am a and person, but I'm totally at home in art galleries and museums. I like walks in the woods or on the beach, hanging out in bookstores, and people watching. I like watching hockey. I prefer to go to the game, but I also like watching on TV. I'd like to learn to play golf. I'm fascinated by architecture. Travel is something I enjoy but don't get to indulge in very often. It is great seeing my name on airline tickets. I want to travel internationally. I've been to Canada, but I'm not really sure that counts as international travel. I would love to go anywhere, but I would especially want to see Scotland, Germany, Austria, Italy, and Russia. If you've read this far, you can see I'm what would be called eclectic in my interests.
