Happy Christian woman, new to the area, needs some great Christian company! :) // Hi! I just moved to Indiana from Michigan where I have lived my entire life! This is a huge move for me and I am earnestly looking for some great Christian company. There's an old saying, "All work and no play makes John a dull boy!" Well, I'm not of the male genre, but the same principle applies! I am a Christian and God is at the center of my life, and is my focus. He has always seen me through life's trials and I believe He has a plan in having me come to Indianapolis. I am currently visiting area churches to find a new church family. I really miss my church family from Michigan; they were a wonderful, loving. and caring group! I have three grown daughters whom are the lights of my life! My youngest attends Butler University and she is part of the reason for my move. My oldest is still living in Michigan, and my middle is attending Dartmouth College in New Hampshire. I have been blessed with these three delightful loans from God! I enjoy hiking (which may be a bit difficult on this flat terrain), biking, horseback riding,playing the piano,reading, walking in the woods, and am willing to try new things! I have a good sense of humor, and can laugh at myself. Actually, my sense of humor is really pretty corny, but that's ok, life is to short not to laugh and have fun! Material things dont' matter much to me....a roof over my head and some food in the fridge is pretty much all I need....I am more interested in people's feelings and sharing love with my family and friends. I also want to get involved in some type of ministry when I find a church.

My Ideal Person
I am seeking someone who first and foremost loves the Lord and places Him first in the his life. I am looking for someone who "lives" his Christian life, without shoving it down others throats. I feel that sometimes we as Christians turn people away by being "in their face" with our beliefs. I feel we gain more people by being a living, shining example to others, and they will want what we have! There's another saying, "You can't care for someone, until they know how much you care!"
I am looking for a guy who has a good sense of humor! I do not like to be around people who take life so seriously that they cannot laugh and just enjoy everyday silliness. Again, life is too short for that kind of thing. I am looking for someone who is interested in various activities, while also being able to enjoy the quiet times when we just sit and talk and pray together. Praying together is very important to me.
