My Ideal Person
Hi - I try to find the good in everything, very easy going and very romantic. There isn't much I don't like to do.
I love to be outdoors - picnics, boating, water sports, fishing (I even have my license), gardening, flying kites, gazing at the stars, horseback riding, long walks, ice skating, etc. I also love a good movie, bowling, roller skating, reading, board and card games. I love to travel. I like to cook, especially if I have a helper in the kitchen, which means helping prepare, cook and clean up....
I have 3 wonderful boys (2 in college and 1 at home). Family is very important to me. We have a beautiful calico cat, Ms. Julie, that we took in as a stray. =^.^=
I try to put God first in all I do and really enjoy the church I attend. Would love to have someone to attend church, Sunday School and church functions/activities with me.
Would love to hear from you if you are interested in the same things and are serious about a relationship with one woman. ~_~

Please describe your faith. How important is your faith to you?
Extremely important. If God isn't first in your life then everything else is out of place.
Which Scripture verses are most important to you?
My baptism verse is John 15:16 - which I believe to be very true. Fruit needs to be visible in a Christian walk.
Phillipians 4:6-7 - I try not to be too anxious about things and wait upon the Lord in all things. I have to call upon these verses quite often. =)
Proverbs 3:5-6 are more good verses because we need to trust in the Lord in absolutely everything.
Why is a Christian relationship so important to you?
The Lord is my life and I try to walk with Him constantly. I don't know how people that don't know the Lord get through a day on their own.
Where did you grow up? Where have you traveled? What are some of your favorite places to visit?
Grew up in the mountains of PA. Have been up and down the east coast. Drove with my parents to Spokane, WA a few years ago. We did a lot of sight-seeing, loved it. Went on a cruise last May with 20 family members to Cozumel, Grand Cayman and Jamaica. Swam with dolphins, saw beautiful underwater vegetation and creatures, held stingrays, saw gorgeous scenery, had a great time.
What are your favorite activities both at Church and outside?
I just finished 15 weeks of FAITH. Went into it not knowing exactly what was all involved, came out wondering why it took me so long to get involved in it. It was great. I learned how to share my faith.
I really enjoy my Sunday School class. We have teachers that are truly filled with the Holy Spirit and I learn so much there. Our class members are great. We are there for each other in every need. We have a prayer list every week to be able to pray for needs and to share praises too.
What is your day like? Describe your daily routine.
Up at 6 a.m. Prayer time in my car as I drive to Charlotte. On the road again at 4:30 heading home to make or pick-up dinner then visit with family/friends, go to local ball games, bible study, ladies meeting, etc. depending on what's going on that night.
What are some of your personal and spiritual goals?
To grow in the knowledge and wisdom of the Lord everyday. We have a visual in our Sunday School class of a line with a starting point (salvation) and ending point (heaven). Each year we're to evaluate our walk with the Lord and visulize where we are on that line. Striving to be closer to the Lord and in the Lord's will.
