Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away. It is also 10% what happens to you and 90% how you react to what happens to you.
I believe both of those statements/quotes/whatever you wanna call them. You can choose how you'll react. Will you be optimistic and know that tomorrow will be better or will you look for the negativeness in every situation?
I start each morning choosing the first option. My day is in God's hands, not mine. After all, my life is not about me. It's all about Him.
Now, for a taste of who I am: Where do I begin? Music-lover, bookworm, responsible, sensible, a romantic at heart, nature-lover, funny, animal-lover, doesn't take herself or life to seriously, loves to travel...meet people, build relationships....all of those could be used to describe me. First and foremost, my faith is very important to me. I thrive on it and am actively involved in music ministry. I play the keys for a couple of bands at my church and on campus. God tops my list...family and friends and music all come in close. I put my relationships before a lot of things...they mean a lot to me and I love spending time with those I love.
Now...how about you?
My Ideal Person
Where do I begin? ...about my ideal match? Crooked smiles, bed hair, dreamy eyes, a sense of humor, a love for kids, romantic...someone who's just as on fire for God as I am and who will continue to point me in His direction. Someone who doesn't take himself too seriously. A guy who's gonna set my heart on fire...adventurous...someone of good character... That should be enough to give you a glimpse of what I'm looking for.
