Introductions... It is SO difficult to introduce yourself online!! So, here goes- a little about who I am... I am a single mom of three adult s. I worked as a nurse for many years before I was forced to "retire" because of a spinal cord injury. I am a "walking" paraplegic. I absolutely LOVE being outdoors, camping, fishing, and just enjoying God's "art" in nature. I am an avid reader and I love being current on Canadian and world affairs. I enjoy stimulating, intellectual conversation and learning. I am fluent in two languages- English and ASL (American Sign Language). I have extensive knowledge about Deaf culture and the Deaf Community here in Canada and would not mind meeting someone who is Deaf or hearing.
About my relationship with Jesus- He is my EVERYTHING. My "perfect" dating match would be with someone who put God FIRST above ALL. My "mate" would love Jesus MORE than me or himself! I have a VERY strong relationship with Jesus and though, as in every relationship, we have had some 'rough' times Jesus has ALWAYS been there for me and I am thoroughly "in love" with Him. I KNOW Jesus has a plan for me and for my life, that my future husband is out there, and I want him to know that I am praying for him (my future husband).
I realize that my "introduction" here is very direct and that may "scare off" some people. I don't want to scare anyone, but I feel I have nothing to lose by being direct- If anything I must be honest. I DO value honesty, trust, integrity, loyalty, grace, intelligence; someone who has a great perality- who isn't afraid to live, laugh and love- who can love deeply by starting out with friendship. Friends value and cherish each other and look out for each other. Friends care about each other. Friends adore each other and always try their best to raise each other up by being humble, supportive and caring. All of these characteristics I value in my friends. All of these characteristics are what I aspire to have and offer fully from myself. And I value them in my future partner as well. I am looking for my "best friend". I know you are out there :) Who wouldn't want to have another friend?
