My name is Mel, nickname (Sledge Hammer). I am Twice retired, work at home on my computer; (Mainly for the Lord/Looking for Whosoever wants to know more about Him. Most people say that I am very mature, intelligent and knowledgeable in most things. (Some even say that I am a little bit witty, but not sarcastic.:) Because Laughter is good medicine for the Soul. Occasionally liken to Bill Cosby.:D
My outlook on life is to put God First in everything (before, during/afterward; and spare or full time). I try to always be happy and by rejoicing in the Day that the Lord has made. (Eat, drink, working/playing; etc, in moderation of course; and within the law). Mainly
Focusing on loving/helping others, (whosoever), including; (The Good, Bad and Ugly); if possible.:-/
I study the Word daily to gain some knowledge of the known and unknown/learning something about All Things (mental exercise).
I try to eat properly and do physical exercise, (I have a Black Belt in the Korean Martial Arts). Like doing most things: eating out or in (especially barbecuing), dancing, picnics, walks/drives, concerts, movies, TV (theater), biking, playing games like Monopoly, pool, table tennis; etc.
I enjoy most sports. Love to listen to most music, but I may not buy it!:-/ My favorites are classic soul, R&B, Blues, Jazz, Gospel; others I may listen to for awhile.:-w
My likes/overall goal is to be a doer of God's Word and dislike (men speculations, traditions and lies).
Money isn't everything, but one needs it to adequately exist (to be poor is not a sin, but to stay that way maybe). :(

My Interest Group is My Friends Network/Pen Pals... (No Requirements/Beliefs or Denominations, etc). Just mingle and enjoy). But I am mainly seeking Bible Study Partners. (Showing how to rightfully translate God's Word, versus transliterating it, by (learning about the original languages the Bible was originally written/Hebrew, Greek and Aramaic).
If one proclaim to be a Christians, we are reminded that in addition to gathering with like minded people church/other activities, it is also commanded that we should occasionally Study to show ourselves approved to God, not people; by (meditating on His Word, ALONE;

Please describe your faith. How important is your faith to you?
I believe in God the Father, Jesus the only begotten Son and God's Holy Spirit. I Love them more than myself or family (In that order).
Which Scripture verses are most important to you?
Study to show yourself approved by God rightfully divided his Word, Chapter by Chapter/verse/line on line. Believing is first but taking action is included.
Why is a Christian relationship so important to you?
Because the Word of God and myself prefers it's better) Others are considered unevenly yoked (they may later or not consider God) I don't have the time or patience to see which way they may choose - I've been there and done that - already. If not, like St Paul - I'll choose to be alone.
Where did you grow up? Where have you traveled? What are some of your favorite places to visit?
Atlanta. Went to the Army in 1963 immediately after High School and have travel almost the whole world(Italy, France, Germany, Japan, Korea, Sweeden, Holand, England, Spain and more???

To be similar like Arnold Murray (Shepherds Chapel). Personal goes would be to have obtained my MBA,PHD/DDS; and making more than 500,000 a year.
