I'm a born again Christian. I'm also a Bible teacher and apologist. My first passion is sharing the gosple of Christ with others. I have all of my teeth and most of my hair ( or is it most of my teeth and all of my hair . I have two sons who live with me. I'm also a great cook( I bake too ), and would like to start my own catering business. I think I can say without reservation; that most of the people registered on this site; are looking for "True Love" But I wonder; how many actually know what true love really is ? Consider the following question. Do you marry the person you love or Love the person you marry ? Many believe; that love is something you fall into ( what you fall into; you can fall out of ). Its not a prenuptial agreement ( why would you want one ? ) Nor is it some tall handsome prince, who sweeps you off your feet,( as soon as he falls off his horse; you'll want a divorce ). It's not something which happens at first sight;( what once looked good; can turn ugly).
So, what is true love ? True love is expressed when we ( by an act of our will ) make a conscious decision, to commit to a person our unending, unchanging love ( for better or for worst ). Hope I didn't burst anyones bubble. Far too often, what we consider to be love is nothing more than self - centeredness ( what will I get out of this ? ) " Love is patiant, love is kind. it does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs( that's a hard one ). Love does not delight in evil but rejoices in truth. It always protects, always trust, always hopes, always perseveres." Wow ! That's........ "TRUE LOVE "
I've started a Blog, where I'll be asking thought provoking questions. My intention ( with prayer ) is to stimulate others ( myself included ) to really study their Bibles. Feel free to stop by and check it out.
My Ideal Person:
A born again Christian woman, who is just as passionate about sharing the gosple as I am, and not contentious, not jealous, and must be honest. She should have all of her hair and most of her teeth . Have a good grasp on scripture, and be able to defend what scripture teaches about Christ, sin, justification and other important Biblical doctrines. If she can cook; that would be gravy.
Favorite television shows:
