By God's grace I'm a born-again Christian. That means that I've repented and turned from my sins and put my trust in Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross to save me from eternally being away from God the Father. My Conversion Story I was, as is everyone, guilty of sin in God's sight and could not do anything to fix it. The apostle Paul explained that salvation can not be earned. It's God's gift to us. All we need to do is receive it. We are guilty and He took our punishment on Himself so that we could go free. All we need to do is choose to repent and put our trust in Him for that salvation. As gratitude to Him for His gift, though I'm so undeserving, I try to live in a way pleasing to Him to show that I'm grateful for His gift.
I do not belong to any denomination. I think that any church that has biblically correct teachings (i.e. what they teach is in accordance with the Word of God) is a good church.
I have been told that I am a nice person. I take a little while to warm up to people because I am a little introverted , but when trust is secured I will open up and be a valued friend. Friendship is not built in a day. And if it ever became more, then it would be through time. But I know I am worth taking the time to know.
I love watching movies. I enjoy reading very much. I LOVE the beach. I love listening to music. Worship songs. I enjoy going to restaurants once in a while.
My Ideal Person:
Someone who is born-again, loves the Lord immensely, has manners, is funny and fun to talk to....I think this counts for both friends and something serious.
Well, since I am looking for friends on here I guess you will find out through conversation what my heart's desire is. And if the Lord wills it to become more, then great. If not I will have gained a friend.
