The first line pretty much describes me. The steel part describes the solidness of my faith in Christ and firmness of my convictions. The velvet describes the love and tenderness that has become evident in my life since the Holy Spirit has taken over.
My vision and passion in life is to help the hurting...and my gifting is particular in the area of ministering to emotional needs. My dream is to be involved in a marriage relationship in which our love will overflow to the lives of others who need to experience God's love and healing power. It's what has kept me single for so long
My Ideal Person:
I know God has a man for me--someone with whom I can grow as we seek God together and serve in His Kingdom. I'll let God choose the specifics, but as far as personal desires, I like someone with whom I can slow down a little and enjoy life, who doesn't mind being pampered a little , and who has a heart of compassion toward people in general. I want someone who will take time to develop a solid friendship FIRST so we can discover more of the real person behind the face. In a nutshell, the man of my dreams will be tough and tender...sounds like a paradox huh?
