Profile for supabubba
Well,I am back again, not sure for how long. I am working on my MBA in Project Management which will take up most of my limited free time. I will be online here s long as I can. *** I have also chosen to let standard members contact me in case that is a reason why I may be back again****

I am a born again Christian who seeks a godly Christian woman for long term relationship, ultimately marriage. I have been given a second chance at life and am going to do things right, thank God he makes us a new creation! Am new to parts of this site so I am learning everything available. I am being mentored for a life in the ministry, so I am seeking a partner who is devoted to carrying on Jesus ministry. Some of my best characteristics are: I am very patient, I have a kind, soft heart (which sometimes gets me in trouble as I have always given people a second and third chance but the word says I may have to forgive someone 70 times 7!) will answer any questions you might have.

My life has been a cross between the prodigal son and to Jonah! Rebellion and given a second chance at life with God protecting me every step of the way. I grew up going to church with my family every Sunday. After college I started to want more in terms of my walk with Jesus. My younger brother has been attending a charismatic church and I could tell a difference in him and could see he had a closer and deeper walk so I went with him one night to a bible study at the home of a local astronaut who had recruited my brother to help him search for Noah's ark. At this bible study I had someone who prophesied to me that I would come running back to my Father just as the prodigal son had and I would become a Shepard of other prodigals. Well I was leaving for my first tour overseas to Germany and it was the start of my rebellion and running away from this prophesy (or so I thought, it was the beginning of my prodigal experience!) and the responsibility that came with it. During the next 10 years I would live a dark lifestyle and ended up getting addicted to alcohol, drugs and in search of any adrenaline rush I could find. It was actually a death wish that I did not realize until I almost got what I had been pursuing. I was having knee surgery at Fort Knox Kentucky in Sept 1999 when I expired on the operating room table and was brought back to life. It was at that time that I reflected on where life on my terms had taken me and I decided to change and let Him have his way with my life.
I moved back to Colorado Springs in Jan 2000. By that spring I found the church where I am currently attending. (google search for Creative Faith Ministries for the url if you care to find out more of where I am coming from!) I was recruited onto the praise and worship team that fall. I was baptized in the Spirit during the next year and began learning and operating in more of the gifts of the Holy Spirit. In December of 2001 I was approached by my Pastor to begin a mentorship program where I could be prepared for the ministry and I have remained in that position up to this day. Where this is going to take me I'm not sure but I'm letting God direct my steps and letting him have control of my life.

What exactly I do at work??? To start with I am being mentored by my pastor for a life in ministry. He assists me daily in learning to walk with the Lord and to lean on him and not on my own abilities and skills. I am at our church offices every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday and do whatever the pastor and the church needs done. We have a food bank and I assist in receiving food from Care and Share and some of our other donor sources, stocking the food bank, giving out the food; we also own the building where our church is located and I act as a facility manager and take care of any problems that arise to include small maintenance repairs or coordinating and overseeing any contracted maintenance issues; we give out free tapes of our services to those attending the services and to those who request tapes through our website and I am responsible for all tape distributions; anything that arises in the everyday activity of the church that the pastor needs done I am there to do whatever needs to be done. I know this is not very specific but every day is different and every day has its own challenges and rewards and I hope this helps to give you a little bit more of and understanding of what I do.

UPDATE: I have also been helping out my pastor's son and my good friend in his painting business to help out the fiancial picture.

This summation of the prodigal son best describes my most important decision I made while I was on my death bed:

MELODY IN "F"

Feeling footloose and frisky, a featherbrained fellow forced his fond father to fork over the farthings, and flew far to foreign fields and frittered his fortune; feasting fabulously with faithless friends. Fleeced by his fellows in folly, and facing famine, he found himself in a filthy farmyard. Fairly famishing he fain would have filed his frame with foraged food from fodder fragments. "Phooey, my father’s flunkies fare far finer." The frazzled fugitive frankly faced facts, frustrated by failure and filled with foreboding, fled forthwith to his family. Falling at his father’s feet, he forlornly fumbled, "Father, I've flunked. I've fruitlessly forfeited family favor." The farsighted father, forestalling further flinching, frantically flagged the flunkies to fetch a fatling from the flock and fix a feast. The fugitive’s faultfinding brother frowned on fickle forgiveness of former folderol, but the faithful father figured: "Filial fidelity is fine but the fugitive is found. What forbids fervent festivity? Let flags be unfurled, let fanfares flare." So father’s forgiveness formed the foundation for the former fugitive’s future fortitude.

I want to become like the moon: I want to have an affect on this world and to also reflect the light of the Son.

What one thing am I most proud of doing in all my life.........It may not seem like much but back on Christmas Eve December 1990 I was on my way home from Germany when I was standing in line waiting at the airline counter and a young lady in front of me was trying to get a flight home for Christmas and the airline would not take her ticket transfer because it was from another airline which had cancelled its flight. She only had her ticket and no money and the airline told her they could only sell her a new ticket so she was depressed and about to cry when I stepped up and bought her a new ticket so she could make it home for Christmas and I also gave her some money so she could eat while she waited for her flight. She wanted my address and phone number so she could repay me. The next day I got a phone call from her dad who was a preacher in southern Kansas. He thanked me for helping his daughter and wanted to send me a check to repay me and I told him it was my pleasure to help and that no repayment was needed and I would not accept any money from him. While it was a small thing to do it was the best present I have ever bought at Christmas...helping a stranger get home for the holidays.

My Ideal Person:
The first thing I would say is to find out more indepth understanding of who I am seeking and also about me, I would recommend you check out my blog supabubba to find out more about me and what type of spirit will be compatiable with my spirit. While one may get a quick overview in the chat rooms I believe to fully find out who I am you need to read my profile, my blogs, and chat with me without the interuptions and distractions of the chat rooms. What every godly man seeks - a godly Christian woman to spend the rest of my life with and possibly raise a family. I am a very patient person so I am willing to search the world over for my partner. I also know He has alot of work to do in me before I am ready to be the husband He will have me to be.

**I am not one to want to rush into any long term relationship rather would like to become friends first and let God lead us down the path for His will to be done. I am one who values friends and friendship but not expecting all friendships to turn into romantic interludes/marriage***

I did receive this letter from a sister in Christ at my church and am letting this be my guide:

MOST WONDERFUL LOVE

In response to our longing to love and to be loved completely by another person God’s message to us is: “No not until you are satisfied, fulfilled and content with being loved by me alone. With giving yourself totally and unreservedly to me. To having an intensely personal and unique relationship that I have planned for you. You will never be united with another until you are united with me - exclusive of anyone or anything else - exclusive of any desires or longings.

I want you to stop planning, stop wishing and allow me to give you the most thrilling plan existing - one you cannot imagine. I want you to have the best. Please allow me to bring it to you. You just keep watching me, expecting the greatest things. Keep experiencing the satisfaction that I am. Keep listening and learning things I tell you. Just wait…that’s all.

Don't be anxious. Don't worry. Don't look around at the things that you think you want. Just keep looking off and away, up to me or you'll miss what I want to show you.

And then, when you're ready I'll surprise you with a love far more wonderful than any you would dream of. you see, until you are ready. And until the one I have for you is ready (I am working even this moment to have the both of you ready at the same time) until you are both satisfied exclusively with Me and the life I have prepared for you, you wont be able to experience the love that exemplifies your relationship with Me and is, thus, perfect love.”

I want my wife to say to me what Nathan said to David in 2Sam 12 ........"You da man!!" ok the King James version actually says "Thou art the man" but it means the same LOL

I hope to be able to live the verse Prov. 18:22 The man who finds a wife finds a treasure and receives favor from the LORD.

I tend to be attracted to or am found to be attractive to others in the serving mankind fields: medical, educational, ministry)

Please describe your faith. How important is your faith to you?
I am a born again charismatic christian who believes faith is a life long walk and where spiritual maturity develops. God has brought me back from actual death, with an out of the body experience, creating a real new creation and I understand more and more each day as to why I have been given a second chance at living life.

Which Scripture verses are most important to you?
ROMANS 12:1

Why is a Christian relationship so important to you?
I have had my share of relationships where I was unequally yoked and know that I do not want to go down that road again!

Where did you grow up? Where have you traveled? What are some of your favorite places to visit?
I was born in Stillwater, Oklahoma and have lived in Oklahoma, Colorado, Texas, Florida, and Indiana. I was in military service (Army) for 17 years and have traveled throughout Europe, Panama, and have been in 43 of the 50 states.

What are your favorite activities both at Church and outside?
my favorite church activities are running the sound system for our praise and worship team as well as all church services; working in our church food pantry as we feed the needy; being mentored by my pastor.

What is your day like? Describe your daily routine.
each day is busy but hardly ever the same. I am at my church from 10 am to 2 pm Tues-Thur, every Tues, Wed, and Fri night and for Sunday services

What are some of your personal and spiritual goals?
I look forward to working with children, quite possibly orphans, and have plans to begin a ministry called "The Reclaimation Project" where we will reclaim our natural resources which will include people who have been discarded one way or another by society. I want my life to be like the moon: reflecting the light of the Son and having an impact on things on this planet.
