Most of my friends would say I have a easy-going personality.Where I live is very important. I am willing to travel or move for the right person.
Please describe your faith. How important is your faith to you?
Faith is the number one thing for all of us as Christians. We are saved by faith. I believe God can do anything, but it needs to line up with His Word. The Bible says we recieve according to our faith. We are either trusting and believing or we are not. We are either in faith or doubt.
Which Scripture verses are most important to you?
John 3:16, Heb. 13:5-6, Joshua 1:8, Jer. 33:3, Isaiah 43:18-19, just for starters
Why is a Christian relationship so important to you?
First of all we need to be of like faith, it doesn't work if we are not. Secondly it is a place to come together to find direction, agree, and solve problems according to the Bible.
Where did you grow up? Where have you traveled? What are some of your favorite places to visit?
I was born in Missouri, went to College in Iowa. I don't recommend either of those to the weak and faint hearted. I have traved to at least 10 different states. The most beautiful place I have ever been is Maine. There are so many incredible places to see and explore. There are places where the water is like glass. However Maine is too cold in the winter for me to enjoy. There are many places in California I love to visit. Monterey and Carmel are the top two.
What are your favorite activities both at Church and outside?
I love going to Church. I wish I was in the ministry. I have cleaned the Church, been a Youth Leader, taught a Sunday School class, helped with the homeless outreach, Choir, Concerts, prayer meetings, and I was the Camp Nurse at Church Camp. Besides Church I love being outdoors and enjoying outside activities. It could be as simple as a walk on the beach or as thrilling as deep sea fishing. I like to walk, ride my bike, garden, have backyard BBQs and sometimes just relax on the couch and/or read a book.
What is your day like? Describe your daily routine.
My job interferes with many things I like to do so I make sure I have fun at work. During the week I don't have time for much so I try to fit in eating, sleeping, and reading my Bible. Saturday I try to get as many responsible duties done as possible so Sunday is devoted to God and Church.
What are some of your personal and spiritual goals?
About 15 years ago I decided to try to let God be in control of my life. I felt like He put on my heart that, in due time He would promote me. At that time I was not happy with much in my life. I feel like He is doing that now. I am a succes at my job and got promoted twice in one year and am getting another one soon. I have not done anything to promote myself. I worked the first 15 years of my adult life on my own agenda and messed it up. I am so happy that God is making the way easy for me now. My personal goals are God's goals for me now. I believe He has called us all to point everyone to Jesus. I want His will. I have a saying, "People are watching, Christians and Non-Christians."
