I am a devoted Christian and mother to my 11 year old son with strong morals and ethics.
I am sincere, genuine, dependable, optismistic, caring, loving, affectionate, romantic and, above all, honest. I am outgoing but would be best described as an extroverted intravert (if you can make sense of that.
I am loyal, devoted and love spending time with that special someone and with good friends. I love to laugh however, I have a serious side. I like building a deep connection with my partner and consider this an important part of a serious relationship and good friendships.
Relationship with people is important to me; having a connection with friends who are more like family to me. Not interested in materialistic things, would rather give it away to someone who needs it. Love to connect with people on a deeper level. Love to learn about many things, especially my relationship with Jesus. Want to learn more, (love study), grow more, do more but would love to be doing this with someone special. Am complete on my own but know that the right relationship would be a wonderful blessing.
Have a heart & passion the unsaved and the underpriviledged, both here and overseas (especially the kids in places like India & Africa).
I enjoy a quieter lifestyle; be it country drives, spending time with family and friends or just relaxing with a good non-fiction book. I love music & singing, especially Christian/worship, Jazz, Blues, Classical, Opera & more although I would consider my taste to be eclectic. Love good live theatre or opera, movies, camping, slow walks, the rain, children/my son - watching him develop & grow - especially spiritually, animals - dogs and cats especially, and the occasional crossword. I have my favourite TV shows but would gladly miss them to spend time with that special someone or a good friend. Love peace/tranquility & that inner joy that comes from above. I love people, love, wisdom, knowledge, grace and forgiveness. Love romantic dinners in or out (maybe a wine with that), shopping(I admit it) op shops, antiques, garage sales. Love singing (I know Ive said that already) - but even admit to liking karaoke!, special times with someone special doing absolutely anything and love to focus on the spiritual & emotional rather than the physical or material. Like a good cuppa & great chat, spontaneity, deep talks, anything non-materialistic & wholesome, camping, holidays, day trips, country drives (especially on a sunny day with the sun streaming through the leaves) & picnics, laughter, sharing, caring, comedy and connections with people of all types. Really enjoy meeting new people and old friends & family, outings of many kinds, non-fiction books, the bible and studying it/theology, learning just about anything, open fires and roasted chestnuts or mashmellows, pastel painting, photography and almost anything new.
My priorities in life are always God, my son, then everyone else, in that order. I come in there somewhere, depending on the other demands. I know it's important to take time out for self but I have to keep reminding myself of this fact as it doesn't come easily. Hopefully, one day, that special someone will come along and take his place amongst my priorities. I haven't made any plans for the future set in concrete as I know life changes and so do our plans and directions. Have many ideas though; perhaps get married, perhaps another child, perhaps become a counsellor or psychologist, perhaps go on a mission to India or Africa, perhaps run my own business and there's more - so many ideas!
Can't sum this up in a few paragraphs (even if they are long ones); life and people are a complexity of emotions and experiences that are usually revealed as people get to know each other more. If you've got this far, thank you for taking the time to read my profile.
My Ideal Person:
The man God has chosen for me. Someone with Godly attributes; a God-fearing man. A man with similar ethics/morals and interests. A man who puts God first, followed by his partner, children and family and then all other things. A man who got through reading my profile and is still interested. lol
