I am rather an easy going person although a very strong and determined one. Most of my life was spent in education-math and science high school teacher-with a stint in hospital lab and administration. I am presently retired. This does not mean I believe in the rocking chair life! I remain very involved doing volunteer work on a regular basis and helping others less fortunate. I go to the gym on a regular basis as I believe in keeping my health as long as possible. My philosophy on life is to treat my neighbors as well as I would like to be treated. I have traveled extensively and lived in different countries: This helps explain why I am not willing to relocate. I belong to a Charismatic Prayer Group and I look forward to their meetings. The group is very active and the discussions are lively. One of the most interesting things I have done is my last trip to Israel where I visited all these places mentioned in the Bible that I always wanted to see. The trip included a one week trip down the Nile in Egypt. The memories will stay with me for the rest of my life.. I know there is out there a godly gentleman who has high values and still believes in love. I'd like to meet such a man....
My Ideal Person:
I like meeting new people but my real reason for joining Big Church is to establish a friendship that could lead to a serious, long term relationship. I am looking for someone with the same goal. My ideal friend should be honest, compassionate. I still believe in romance and it would be nice if my new friend is on the romantic side... Physical attributes are not that important to me. Good personality, strong character and belief in Christian value system are.

Please describe your faith. How important is your faith to you?
My faith is very important to me. There are things in this life that we can not comprehend: my faith teaches me to accept them.
It sustains me in times of crises. It teaches me to forgive those who treat me badly. I never feel truly alone . I never feel desperate because I know God will take care of me.
This is why I made sure that my kids have a good Christian foundation that will help them all through life.
Which Scripture verses are most important to you?
" The Lord is my sheperd: I shall not want..."
and of course Ecclesiast
"Vae solis" Woe to the man...or the woman alone!
It is good to have a companion in this life.
Why is a Christian relationship so important to you?
Because I expect the man not only to understand and respect my values but also to share them.
Where did you grow up? Where have you traveled? What are some of your favorite places to visit?
I grew up in the West Indies. Then I went to Paris, France for my studies.
From there I went to French Canada then to English Canada before living in three different states in the USA.
My favorite place to live was France. This is where I got married. These were exciting times.
I have visited: Italy, England, Belgium, Switzerland, the Netherland,Greece, Canada, Virgin Islands, Porto Rico, Aruba, Venezuela and most recently Egypt and Israel. I may have forgotten a couple of places.
What are your favorite activities both at Church and outside?
I attend chuch faithfully.
Besides I belong to a Charismatic Prayer Group.
We meet usually on Monday evenings for prayer, singing, special masses for sick people. We celebrate each other birthday. We also have Jubilees, retreats etc. The group is quite active.
What is your day like? Describe your daily routine.
It depends on my schedule for this specific day. Not two days are alike but they are always full and pleasant.
I do reserve the right to cancel all my appointments and enjoy a day of rest when I don't feel well or I feel too tired.
What are some of your personal and spiritual goals?
Personal goal: I would like to meet this special friend: we can walk alongside each other and accompany each other.
Spiritual goal: Continue to grow in faith, be a good Christian, love my neighbor so that at the end of the road iI feel fulfilled and happy.
Remember: race, formal education, physical appearance, good looks, high income are not important to me.
Honesty, strength of character, good moral values
are very important to me and are what I am looking for in my ideal companion.
