Thank you so much for taking the time to find out more about me. I am seeking fellowship to assist with the trials of life. This is such a limited space to try and capture that which I am; perhpas you, dear reader, would be motived to learn a bit more.
I love music and racket sports, bowling and golf. I have played flute, guitar, piano and harmonica. The last time I performed was at the chapel service while graduating from Loyola in Chicago (it's been a while). I'm a Dodger and Packer fan. I can be quite poetic and express myself very well through writing.
I'm a single father of two boys. My wife passed away to God in 2000. I work with folks with chronic mental illness and experience angel kisses, [shivers down my spine sensing God's hand at work through me] frequently in this profession.
My Ideal Person:
I'm looking for a partner who lives and acts their faith; I need to be able to see the evidence of God in your behaviors and thoughts more than in your practice of worship. I would prefer a partner who does not take themselves too seriously and loves themselves the right amount. The term partner is a bit misleading to many I think; God must be in the middle...

Please describe your faith. How important is your faith to you?
I would describe my faith as very works based. I believe that any good that occurs through me by God is a blessing. I seek 'God' experiences in my life and find extraordinary pleasure in them.
I'm fairly liberal in belief and practice. I feel that judgment and criticism of others is not an appropriate expression of faith. We are called to be witnesses, not judges.
Which Scripture verses are most important to you?
Speak and act as those who are going to be judged by the law that gives freedom, because judgment without mercy will be shown to anyone who has not been merciful. Mercy triumphs over judgment! [James 2:12~13]
We love because he first loved us. If anyone says, "I love God," yet hates his brother, he is a liar. For anyone who does not love his brother, whom he has seen, cannot love God, whom he has not seen. [1 John 4:19~20]
You love God as much as the person you like the least?
He has showed you, O man, what is good. And what does the LORD require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God. [Micah 6:8]
Just three things God requires... pretty simple really!
Where did you grow up? Where have you traveled? What are some of your favorite places to visit?
I have lived in several places. I grew up in the midwest; Iowa, Wisconsin, Illinois. I went to College initially in Kansas City and upon graduating moved to San Jose, CA. In 2000, I moved to Chicago to earn a graduate education. All that has led me to where I am now. I moved to Maine in 2004 following the completion of a degree in Pastoral Counseling.
