I am a joyful and outgoing woman who loves God, life, and people....Faith, family, and friends are the most important things in my life...I am friendly, communicative, approachable, and always honest. My 100% Norwegian nationality makes me proud of it, and gives me a healthy appearance that I am very thankful for. I was a cheerleader for 6 yrs in a row in school, so like to watch sports - tho I am not terribly athletic. I love to dance! I enjoy travel to the max, and experiencing different cultures and events. Am a very active conservative politically, and am involved in my church. I teach 8th Grade American History;consider myself a History Nut, and absolutely love the uniqueness of the junior high age student! I possess a very celebratory spirit about life and its various occassions. I desire a man who is handsome, courageous, loves to obey God,prayer is a vital part of his life;especially with me, and will be an encouragement to me, my children and grandchildren; tho no grandchildren yet... God's best to you wherever you are and whatever you are doing! (Photos = Feb,2009, pearls - May 2007, with nametag at Reunion - Aug. 09)
My Ideal Person:
I would just have to repeat some of the above information.................I only date men who are committed to Christ and God's ways; not just a nominal Christian................The joy of obedience is important to me; as well as a man who prays easily and often in life. Courage and real integrity are essential also - in the small things as well as the big things. Trustworthiness is imperative for a quality life; even when it hurts! (: My divorce, which was unecessary and tragic, took place 6 years ago. That's why I have learned the life lesson that the man I share my life with must have a heart for God, and depend upon Him and the power of the Holy Spirit to love and forgive - because our human abilities are limited. We cannot just intellectually assent to Christ; it must come from a repentant heart............This was my mistake in my first marriage; which I did not realize during my engagement. Yet, I am so grateful to God for His grace and "second chances.".............Let's enjoy life, encourage one another, and celebrate God's goodness together!
