My Ideal Person:
I am looking for a kindly, fun-loving, godly Christian man, who will enjoy life with me, that he will be a good friend, slow to anger, and love to laugh. Since I enjoy the outdoors I would want him to love that too, along with eating healthy, and staying fit. Good conversation, making memories, and enjoying the same things can build a lasting friendship and relationship.

Please describe your faith. How important is your faith to you?
My faith is very important to me because my life was empty and Jesus filled me with Himself. I was born-again in 1983 and it has been an amazing journey since then. He has rescued me many times from myself!

Which Scripture verses are most important to you?
All of John 14...."..He has prepared a place for me" John 3:16 Isaiah 41:10 Psalm 23 and 90 and 122 Jeremiah 29:11

Why is a Christian relationship so important to you?
To have true relationship two people must come from the same direction...think the same on this very important issue. If God is the center of a relationship the binds are closer together and lasting. Love grows and is stronger "a three strand cord is not easily broken".

Where did you grow up? Where have you traveled? What are some of your favorite places to visit?
I grew up in the country in Erie, Pennsylvania. I moved to Florida and stayed there for 32 years. Part of that time was spent in the Florida Keys. I have traveled most of America in an RV for two years, and settled in Tennessee with my family. Northeast Tennessee is one of the most beautiful parts of America! I have traveled to Europe on a musical missions trip, and enjoyed several cruises.

What are your favorite activities both at Church and outside?
Sing, sing, sing and sing some more. I love to harmonize in a quartet. As part of the Greeter Ministry I speak with new people visiting and answer any questions. I also teach childrens church once or twice a month, as well as bible study. We do enjoy our picnics at church and camping trips and missions trips. We are always doing something in the community.

What is your day like? Describe your daily routine.
I'm in a temporary living situation with my mom, as my father recently passed away. I also help an invalid lady and assist other elderly people. I am employed part-time as a cashier because I wanted the interaction with people after I retired. I'm always busy and not a big TV watcher. To relax I enjoy reading, or crocheting.

What are some of your personal and spiritual goals?
I'm hoping that I will find myself in a loving and sharing relationship with someone who is like me and has my same spiritual goals. I enjoy bible study and helping in the community.
