My name is Tonya and I try to please God in all that I do. I walk with him daily, however I am still learning how to be the person God would have me be. I love going to church, doing daily Bible study and am looking for friends to share my life with. I am an outdoors person. I recently sold my motorcycle but, love riding, swimming, the beach, cook outs and spending time with family and friends. I am SINCERELY IN LOVE with JESUS and would like to find my LIFETIME partner as well. Thank You for reading my profile and may God Bless and Keep you in all that you do.
My Ideal Person:
The man I would expect to be with would know how to love BIBLICALLY. I long for a man that I can stand behind and support in all his endeavors. I do not want to be controlled but, considered an addition to a man's life and have my opinions respected. I love family and have a heart for missions. Although I have never even been on a missions trip, I hope to go some day. I hope to find lots of friends near by, that I can worship with and BE THERE for them. I like lots of friends and find it hard to be excepted when you are single. The friends I am searching for would be the kind that do NOT condemn me when I make mistakes but, walk with me through them. People to be there when you need them kindda thing. Even if that means by prayer or phone. I shall continue to hold my head up and KNOW that God has things in control, in his timing. The man I would someday spend my life with would be considerate of my feelings, compassionate when I need a hug and basically pray with me and for me. I like feeling loved and want my partner to feel he can talk with me about anything on his mind. I also hope and pray my ideal partner knows how to put God first in his life and therefore, let God lead us to make wise decisions together.

Please describe your faith. How important is your faith to you?
Without Faith, there would be NO REASON to wake up in the morning or exist. I have every bit of Faith I can muster in Christ to DO ALL things through me. I am learning more and more every day on how much MORE my Faith has grown in the past year. I can only hope that anyone who does NOT have Faith, needs to reexamine their life for worth.
Which Scripture verses are most important to you?
I find the Proverbs to be very real and down to earth to me. It tells it just like it is. I recently was reading James and found I REALLY enjoyed it also. I do NOT have alot of scripture memorized so, I just try to retain what I KNOW to be true in my heart.
Why is a Christian relationship so important to you?
I have had all the other types of relationships out there available and found them ALL to be so lonely, unfulfilling and aggravating. Having a christian relationship is important because, THAT IS HOW GOD made us to be and because, he says it should be important. I hope and pray my next relationship will be GOD ORDAINED because then I KNOW it will be FOREVER.
Where did you grow up? Where have you traveled? What are some of your favorite places to visit?
I grew up in Indianapolis, Indiana. My first marriage led me to live in a small, tiny town called Crozy, VA in the Shanandoah Mountains. I LOVED it there and would have stayed but, when I divorced I felt I needed to go back home to be near my family. I have not traveled much at all in my life. I once saved for a whole year with a sister and a girl friend and we went to Hawaii. That was by far the most BEAUTIFUL place I have ever been. I moved to Florida about 7 years ago and that's where I have stayed. I like it here but, the summers get really hot. I don't have to shovel snow any more though. I DID LOVE VA also, the mountains were absolutely breath taking.
What are your favorite activities both at Church and outside?
I LOVE singing worship songs to the Lord at church. I really enjoy listening and learning from my pastor weekly. I wish I could listen to him more. I crave the word of God. I also love my Sunday School class. I go to the older 60 and older class because I am so welcomed there. They are awesome people and always make me feel like a part of them. I have been trying for years to get back into a small Bible study program, I really miss this but, my hours at work just do not allow me to do much during the week. Outside of church I enjoy cook outs, family get togethers, being around friends, reading, love anything outdoors, riding a motorcycle, jet skiing, walking on the beach, watching the sun set and quite time with a man I love would be GREAT.
What is your day like? Describe your daily routine.
I wake up at 5:00 am, I am a last minute morning person. I don't like getting up this early. I don't talk much at this hour. I am off to work at 5:30 am. My bus route ends at 8:30 am and I am off to a part time job until 1:00 pm. Then I go back to bus route, take my kids home and done around 5:00-5:15 pm. I get home around 5:45 pm and take my shower, eat something if I feel like eating, get on the computer for an hour or so and off to bed. Weekdays are very hectic during school season. I can not come home in between bus routes because, it is too far to drive back and forth daily. On weekends I clean house, do my laundry, ironing, church and sunday school on sundays and it's time to do it all over again.
What are some of your personal and spiritual goals?
My personal goals are to get more physically active. I have been trying to get myself to ride a bicycle in the evenings but, it has been a little hard to incorporate into my busy schedule and just trying to get less lazy. I love to walk but, just won't walk alone. Maybe once I meet someone I will do more physical exercise?? Spiritually I have ALOT of goals. I continue to grow daily in my knowledge of the Lord but, would TRULY like to find a better way to memorize scripture. I have a really hard time with this and would like to some day be able to quote the Bible back to God in my prayers.
