Hello! I enjoy good food, films and having a chat and a laugh: which is something that I like to do a lot! My friends say that I have a good sense of humour and I enjoy lively conversation, but am a good listener too. I belong to a book group at my church and am active in the daily life of the church particularly in leading a ministry to women called 'Be.' I also enjoy taking walks in the countryside and an early morning swim before work, but am not what you would call an obsessive excercise junkie! My favourite film is Sleepless in Seattle but I also enjoyed Lord of the rings and the Matrix ... so I guess I have a broad range of tastes there. What else... music! Opera makes me cry, I would love to go see U2 and sometimes listen to jazz but not the modern stuff. Best ever concert was either Beautiful South or Texas.
Basically I find people interesting, I love to try to work out people's accent.... and am interested in meeting a good Christian man.
My Ideal Person:
I am looking for someone who is honest, caring, warm, emotionally intelligent and who loves the Lord with a passion and wants to serve him first and foremost. He would ideally enjoy good conversation - both speaking and listening! ... Like a good read as much as going to see films, concerts and other cultural events and be capable of being spontaneous and on occasion to make romantic and thoughtful gestures. I would like someone who wants to be loved and who will be loyal and true to walk the walk that the Lord has set me on so that we can offer each other mutual support as we learn to walk and serve together.
