Hi, I am an outgoing and genuine single woman who loves the Lord and desires to serve Him and build His kingdom. I am reluctantly trying this "online search thing" with hopes that there is a man out there with an adventurous spirit who also loves the Lord and shares His heart for reaching the lost. Perhaps someone who doesn't want to be on this site any more than I do.
About me: I love the Lord, the Red Sox, my family, early American history, the outdoors, sailing, swimming, hiking, camping, art, music, drama, youth work, missions, laughter, culture, world travel and dancing of all sorts. I know my way around power tools and cannons (just seeing if you're paying attention).
I come from a fantastic Christian family with parents who are still together. I am looking for the same thing - with someone who hasn't been divorced. Sorry, the d-word is just not part of my vocabulary. I love kids and really look forward to having my own.
I enjoy overseas missions, and have been overseas several times... I'm heading out on another short term mission this summer. However, I also have a heart for reaching the lost and planting spiritual seeds right here in the stony soil of New England. Oh, how I would love to find someone who shares that passion.
My Ideal Person:
A spine is required. The timid need not apply. Be a man of your word and of His Word, and if you're shopping around...try the mall. Please don't get me wrong... I'm not trying to sound critical. I am a very positive and friendly person. Its just that I would rather spend my time sharing the gospel than surfing online. I am not here for a penpal, a prayer partner (though that IS part of the package), or long-term non-committal dating. I'm here with intent, hoping to be found "at the well" by someone who is just as busy in ministry, but looking with serious intentions.
Please be patient with me as I am new to this online scene. I don't sit at my computer every night, so it might take me a few days to get back to you. But if you're for real...and this doesn't scare you off... I look forward to meeting you.

Please describe your faith. How important is your faith to you?
My relationship with Jesus Christ is the most important thing to me. I am a follower and worshiper of the Lord Jesus Christ. I believe with my heart and confess with my lips that Jesus is the Son of God and the perfect sacrifice for my sin. There is nothing I could ever do to earn His love or eternal life - it is a free gift. By putting my faith in Him and receiving His gift of death on my behalf, I know for certain that my life is and always will be complete and secure, now and for eternity. In response, I have given Him my life and joyously seek to serve Him and bring His praise to the ends of the Earth.
Which Scripture verses are most important to you?
"With people it is impossible, but not with God; for all things are possible with God." Mark 10:27
My life verse: James 1:22 But prove yourselves doers of the Word and not merely hearers who delude themselves.
And top of the list: Galatians 2:20 "For I have been crucified with Christ and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. The life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me."
Why is a Christian relationship so important to you?
Because it is important to God... enough that he actually warns us not to be unequally yoked with a non-believer. I have dated non-christians enough that I have finally learned that lesson.
I want a man who will be a spiritual leader in my home. Unless the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain. I don't want someone who is "trying to be a christian" for me. Never works. If God doesn't have your heart, you can't have mine.
Where did you grow up? Where have you traveled? What are some of your favorite places to visit?
I grew up in the greater Boston area. I have traveled to Europe, Central America and Africa, plus Nova Scotia and Canada. I loooove to travel, but am at the point where I want it to have Kingdom purpose.
What are your favorite activities both at Church and outside?
I have been involved in youth ministry, worship team, theater (performance and production), arts ministries, hospitality, missions in country and overseas. Plus some living history... that's a whole other story.
What are some of your personal and spiritual goals?
Hmm... tough call. What will Jesus call me to on the micro and macro scale? Hopefully more outreach locally and overseas. I hope to learn more about worship and how to yield myself to His transforming power, let go of my understanding and to trust Him more for the miraculous.
