I live a very quiet life style these days.I have been on my own now for 7 years and have not dated since.I am extending the hand of christian fellowship to any brother or sister who is interested in sharing what the Lord is doing in their lives day by day.I love music, Michael Card being my favorite Christian artist.Check out his songs JOY IN THE JOURNEY AND THE THINGS WE LEAVE BEHIND.I have recently rekindled my interest in playing music again and have set a goal to get out and play again.I am very focused on this.In the secular music realm i enjoy James Taylor,Marc Jordan,VAN MORRISSON and some of the more mellow ballads of Tom Waits.I must say though,passion and sincerity being the crucial elements they are in singing and playing,that i am leaning more towards a music ministry as some of my freinds have done.I am also very passionate about the out doors.Canoeing and flyfishing in particular and have spent a lot of time on the north shore of Lake Superior.Any flyfishermen/women out there want to exchange fly recepies or stories of blue ribbon trout streams!Above all we can encourage each other in our walk with JESUS.Reading books on theology and Christian apologetics has enhanced my faith deeply but i do not pretend to have all the answers.They have just enlarged my simple faith.I have a very small,very humble shack on a very cold and rocky shoreline on Manitoulin Isl. in northern Ont. that i don't get to often enough.When i do it is where i do all my reading.An update on this.I have recently started to enlarge my little shack on the shoreline.This area is also designated as a dark sky refuge.So i plan on building an elavated platform onto the cabin as a viewing area where i can mount a telescope.The skies here are just phenominal....especially over lake Huron.I spend most of my time,2 to 4 hours a night as a rule, and most of SAT. and SUN., sitting in my cozy little make shift studio practicing and thought this would be a nice way to take a break once in a while.GOD'S word is an endless supply of lyrical ideas.What beautiful imagery!Michael Card has,through his deep passion for GOD,captured all of this in his worship music and ballads.Looking forward to talking to you all.Yours in CHRIST.

Someone who is interested simply in conversing with a pen pal.I have come to the point in my life where my relationship with GOD fills all my days and having friends with this passion for GOD in their lives would be quite a valuable treasure.

Where did you grow up? Where have you traveled? What are some of your favorite places to visit?
I grew up in Brantford.I love to travel the north.Ive canoed the boundary waters of Minnesota,Quetico National Park.Ive been to the East coast and some of the New England States.Ive canoed along the North shore of Lake Superior and some of her rivers.The Pukaskua and White rivers.I love the wilderness.Solo trips a couple of days in on a canoe is so humbling.There is such an overpowering melancholic feeling that comes over you!A greater sense of dependency on GOD.I would not say a deeper feeling of GOD'S presence, as i believe HE can give everyone that great gift.But it offers a profoundly different perspective...or experience.Maybe it's that there is less distraction.A lake,shoreline,a sky, you and HIM,and the sounds and smells that go with it all.
What are your favorite activities both at Church and outside?
playing music.bible studies.cell group fellowship.Traveling up and down highway 5 in spring and summer visiting the garden nurseries and antique stores.Browsing around in Chapters.Puttering around in the Nith and Grand River in my Kayak.Catching a sunset on the river with my flyrod as a new may fly hatch is just beginning.

WORK all day.Swim 3 days a week.Work on my music.Wait for friends to email me.
What are some of your personal and spiritual goals?
To play my music part time.To finish my house renos off so i can indulge in the more leisure things in life again.To build deeper christian friendships.To serve the Lord in a music ministry.To leave this earth with confidence and peace,knowing to whom it is i will give an account to.Remembering the rock from which i was hewn.
