Hello, there,
These things are so hard to write! I like a variety of things - people, music, sports, architecture/houses/real estate, my dog, hanging at home, being involved in others' lives, dancing - lots to do, not enough time, and too much work right now! So, I'm trying to transition to a more balanced lifestyle.
I need to eat healthier and cook more and have some fun outdoors. I'm very behind on catching movies, so I'd like to see a few on DVD (got any suggestions?) or go see a good one out.
I like music - a little of everything but my faves are rock and pop. However, I'm taking classical voice lessons from a phenomenal teacher (unfortunately, I still have a LONG way to go  ).
I love real estate and dogs, and I think horses are just majestic.
I'm a defense contractor who is trying to transition into real estate (go figure on that one...). I'd like to have a family and work from home.
I like to garden and read and sometimes cook. I have extended family and am "adopted" into several families.
I think God is way cool. I serve at my church doing overheads/computer for praise 'n worship. I go to a church that is quite different from how I was raised (Methodist) - took me a while to get used to it - but it's a sound church with a great pastor and I'm very glad to be there.
I'm very thankful for Joyce Meyer's online misinstry (fits my wacky schedule) and think she's a powerful preacher.
One final note: guys, if any of us ladies looks interesting, drop a line, will ya? God programmed you to pursue, so get to it, even if it's not me!
My Ideal Person:
I'm looking for a guy who's comfortable in his own skin. Someone who's letting God change him on a daily basis. Compassion and caring are important. I'd perfer someone who has a variety of interests and who can relate to a variety of people. Definitely someone who is employed, might even be that he loves his vocation, but who doesn't neglect his family and tries to have balance. I know he's not perfect - who is? - we're all working on it, this life...
