Please describe your faith. How important is your faith to you?
My faith . . . I believe that God sent his son to die on the cross for us; so that we may have eternal life, if we accept him as our Savior and believe that he sent his son for us. My faith has gotten me through some pretty rough times; knowing that God never promised that life as a Christian would be perfect or pain-free; but he is there comforting us, and does send other people to help us through those dark times.

Which Scripture verses are most important to you?
Philipians 4:13 - - I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me. Matthew 6:34 - Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own. Psalm 147:3 - - He heals the broken hearted . . . I could go on and on about this all night.

Why is a Christian relationship so important to you?
As a Christian, it just would not work having a partner who is not a Christian. A non-Christian would not understand that God has to come first, that God has the answers to life's difficult questions, that God and God alone can "make things better."

Where did you grow up? Where have you traveled? What are some of your favorite places to visit?
I grew up in Maine. I have not traveled extensively, but would like to. I have been to Florida a few times, California, New Mexico, Las Vegas, England, Canada, I went on a cruise and loved that.

What are your favorite activities both at Church and outside?
I do enjoy the Secret Sister program in church. I like the fellowship of an old fashioned pot luck dinner. I like being a greeter before the service. I like being a "part" of the church, just not an attendee. Outside of church, I have my quilting, my gardening, I like traveling to the coast of Maine and being near the beautiful ocean. I like going for long walks, I enjoy being with my children.

What is your day like? Describe your daily routine.
Well, I do work for 8 hours a day, and between commute and work time, I am gone for 10 hours a day. Usually I come home and make a quick dinner, work on a quilt, an afgan, do housework. Watch television before I go to bed. On the weekends I usually spend time with friends. I am also in the Big Brother/Big Sister program, and I spend time with my Little Sister.

What are some of your personal and spiritual goals?
One of my personal goals would also be a spiritual goal, I guess. It is far fetched, but it could happen. I would like to be a speaker at seminars, retreats, etc. on grief.
