I am now coping with being divorced after 30 years, and my kids are out of the nest and flying on their own.
I love traveling and adventure. In fact, in the last five years, I have lived and worked in Alaska two different times, but it turned out to be too far from home to stay for very long. I have visited England, and I lived in Hawaii, Kansas, and Arizona. Other than that, I have lived in Texas most of my life.
I just moved to Big Spring (TX) after spending 20+ years in the Waco/Killeen area.
I don't know if I will ever marry again, but for right now, I enjoy writing and meeting other people. My strength and encouragement comes from trusting God, my children, and my friends, who tell me I am smart, funny, and fun to be with. It is important that we have that kind of encouragement from our friends and loved ones.
In the future, I hope I never stop learning and trying to be a better person. Like Paul, I strive toward the prize. For me to live is Christ; to die is gain.
