I'm generally pretty laid back, but I would be less than honest if I didn't say I do have emotional troubles that come up once in a while. That is my disability.
I get a modest benefit from Social Security to live on and not much more. In fact I have trouble keeping ends met once in a while if something comes up.
My walk with God is just getting back into my life and I like many struggle with some sin issues. I'm getting closer to what God wants me to be every day though. I live close to my church, attend and take notes at Bible study. I read my Bible and study some other methods every day. I'm into listening to audio books and podcasts from various pastors.
My main addiction is popcorn, the news and Diet Coke, LOL.
Enough from me for now, I'm looking forward to hearing from you.
My Ideal Person:
To start with, the woman I am looking for must be a good friend first. It's not important for her to be church going or anything, but not a "God Basher". Looks aren't very important, but it's needless to say that we do have to have chemistry. A liking of some of the same things would be nice, as good friends should share some interests. I live in a culturally diverse area, so I'm used to people of different backgrounds.
Favorite television shows:
Dave Letterman and the news is pretty much it.
Favorite films:
Star Wars, Indiana Jones, The Mummy, Passion of the Christ, TheRookie,
Major League, Bruce Almight
Favorite musicians or bands:
Third Day, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Eric Clapton, BB King, BuddyGuy,
Newsboys, Chris Tomlin, Jars of Clay

Please describe your faith. How important is your faith to you?
My favorite subject is to talk about my faith which is Pentecostal Christian. It's very important to me, in fact there isn't anything more important than God. He is my friend and guardian, without who I probably wouldn't be here today. I get quite emotional when I talk about Him. My eyes are very wet right now.
Which Scripture verses are most important to you?
I think that any of the Proverbs is very important to me, but I think Proverbs 5 is most important. I also think Isaiah 12 is very good, I carry these in my wallet at all times for strength from sexual addiction.
Why is a Christian relationship so important to you?
A good relationship with God is what keeps my life on an even keel. Without it there is no telling what might have happened. My life continues to get better every day.
Where did you grow up? Where have you traveled? What are some of your favorite places to visit?
I was born in Kingman, KS, but for the most part I grew up in the Seattle area. I've traveled to Hawaii, Indiana, Ohio, Tennessee, Kentucky, North Carolina, South Carolina, Oregon, Idaho, Montana Wyoming, Utah, California, Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado, Mexico and Canada. I think Hawaii is the best!
What are your favorite activities both at Church and outside?
Actually the best things are found both in and out of church, and that is music. We have a very fine praise and worship group.
What is your day like? Describe your daily routine.
The first thing after getting my eyes open are to hit my knees, thanking the Lord for allowing me to wake up once more. Then I listen to Dr Stanley and Rick Warren's audio book "The Purpose Driven Life". I read the Bible right away so there is no excuse for missing. Then I get the coffee on and fire up the computer if it isn't already on. Then I do some reading of whatever is going on in my life. Then I do some surfing, or should I say a lot of surfing! Watch the noon news with more surfing, watch the evening news, watch the night news then watch Dave then go to bed.
What are some of your personal and spiritual goals?
My personal goal is to keep myself healthy and happy foremost. My spiritual goal is to keep myself spiritually fit and see what I can do for the Lord. I recently made DVDs for the Pastors of the Fall Festival. It's our substitute for the Halloween craziness.
