A partner in the truest sense of the word, someone who has my back, as I have his. A lover, a debate partner, a philosphopher, and someone who is going to kick my ass (figuratively) when I'm being a pain. Someone who knows the difference between a figurative, and literal comment. Someone who thinks of the "we" before the "me". A brain, poet, sports fan is ok, as long as fan doesn't mean "fanatic". Someone who can enjoy being child-like, but fights like an adult. Someone who looks at his parents or grandparents and sees the benefit of being with his partner for decades and not just years.
