Hi! I have been a Christian for a long time -since childhood (age . I have gone to several Christian colleges -Westmont College, Taylor University and Biola University (Talbot Theological Seminary). I have two and a half Master's Degrees, and I have been doing social work and psychotherapy for over 25 years. I work at a large 120 bed adolescent residential chemical dependency treatment facility in the San Fernando Valley. I serve as the Director of Mental Health and Family Services at the facility. I attend the local Evangelical Free Church in Burbank. I love the Lord and continue to want a closer walk with Him. At times I can be quite the prankster and goofball. I believe that being able to laugh at onself and the obsurdity displayed in real life situations is an important part of staying mentally and emotionally healthy. I try to work out at the gym about 3 times a week. One of my personal goals in life is to daily ask myself: "As a child of God and an agent of change, is there someone today who I can I make a positive difference and impact in his/her life?"
My Ideal Person:
A partner who would likes the outdoors (i.e., the mountains and beaches). A woman of God who is also looking for a partner who compliments her spiritual gifts as well as her goals in ministry and in life. Someone who really knows the Word of God. Someone who is romantic, affectionate, and loves to cuddle. Other than that... things are open.
Favorite television shows:
CSI, Bones, Heros
Favorite films:
Lord of The Rings

Please describe your faith. How important is your faith to you?
My faith is very important to me. I was saved at a very young age and was fortunate to sit at the feet of some very godly and Biblically knowledgeable men who taught me the Word of God. In my early 20's my desire to know God's Word better led me to attend Talbot Theological Seminary at Biola University for a little over a year. Now at age 49, once again, I now find myself desiring to renew my pursuit to know Jesus and His Word on an increasingly deeper level.
Which Scripture verses are most important to you?
Most of Romans chapter 8, and John chapters 14 - 16.
Why is a Christian relationship so important to you?
It represents, in its purest form, the closest relationship possible between two people.
Where did you grow up? Where have you traveled? What are some of your favorite places to visit?
I grew up in Burbank, CA. I have not really traveled that much. Up until now, my life had been consumed with working 60 hours a week. My favorite places?... without a doubt... the mountains and the beaches.
What are your favorite activities both at Church and outside?
I like mid week Bible Studies. Outside church... camping, hiking, backpacking, and relaxing on the beach.
What is your day like? Describe your daily routine.
Curently it is pretty uncomplicated.
What are some of your personal and spiritual goals?
They keep changing... I don't know this one for sure right now... other than what I have stated above. In my younger years, I wanted to spend some time as a counselor to the missionary families in other countries who struggle with being away from home in America and dealing with a different culture. I am still not apposed to this, but I am not currently actively pursuing it either.
