I am a single mom of 2. A son 32, not at home, a daughter 10, at home. Between God and my daughter I believe I have time for some conversation that is beyond 10 years old. I work full time at a modular manufacturing plant as an accounts payable clerk. I really like my job and have a good working relationship with my co-workers. I attend church faithfully on Sunday's and go to as many church related functions as possible. Although I am pretty busy with my job and daughter, I do a lot of Bible study and reading on my own at home. I like to travel to different christian events in my local and surrounding areas. I consider myself a christian sponge. I guess because I recently made a serious life change and gave my life and my daughters life to God on June 21, 2006. I am reading "Purpose Driven Life" right now along side my bible. I love listening to Native American christian music. Two of my favorites are Jonathon Maracle and Cheryl Bear. I recently listened to a local native singer and just fell in love with her music. Her name is Joanne Storm Taylor. She isn't too well known yet but with a voice like her's.............! I consider myself easy to get along with. In the winter months I love a cozy fire with candle light, listening to good christian tunes and a good book, (Bible, etc.).
My Ideal Person:
I guess for now I'm looking for someone who would like to get to know each other slowly, no rush. Good conversation with some compatibility. Conversing on-line is good. I have a daughter and her feelings are very important to me. Someone who likes to laugh. No phonies please. Someone who would like to grow in God as I am doing everyday. Someone who dosen't have to have everything carved in stone, but is organized. (I am somewhat unorganized).
Favorite television shows:
Christian, Country, Romance
Favorite films:
The Lake House, The Passion of the Christ, An Unfinished
Life, Broken Trail, these are the most rec
Favorite musicians or bands:

Please describe your faith. How important is your faith to you?
My faith is pretty new. June 21, 2006 was the day of my rebirth. Before that my thoughts were, we are born-we die and inbetween there is nothing but hurt, pain, sorrow, regret, heartache, loneliness, despair, deceit, and then I found the Lord through a couple of friends who cared enough about me to show me that God would carry me in those times if I would just let him. Now I do, every day. My faith is extremely important to me.
Which Scripture verses are most important to you?
Matthew 7:7,8,12
7 Ask and it shall be given to you; seek, and you shall find; knock, and it shall be opened to you.
8 For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it shall be opened.
12 Therefore, however you want people to treat you, so treat them, for this is the Law and the Prophets.
Why is a Christian relationship so important to you?
The relationships I've had in the past have all been bad choices. Those were choices without God. My life is different now, and I refuse to make bad choices in my future. Any relationship in my future must be approved by my faith in Jesus, to show me the right person for me. Because this time I want it to be forever.
Where did you grow up? Where have you traveled? What are some of your favorite places to visit?
I grew up in Humboldt County. More specifically, Hoopa, an Indian reservation in Northern California. My parents divorced when I was 5. My mom, brother and myself moved to Redding, then to the coast (Eureka,Arcata area). I came back to the reservation at 16 then moved to Chico Ca. at age 28. I lived there for 8 years. I have been back in Hoopa for about 12 years and live here currently. My mother was Native, my dad non-indian. That would explain my green eyes.
What are your favorite activities both at Church and outside?
I love Church, period. I love the people, the worship. I very much enjoy the pastor's at our church, a husband and wife team. Our church is small and wonderful. Outside of church, I enjoy spending time with my daughter when not at work or she's not in school. We enjoy movies, eating out, reading, swimming, bike riding. I love Harley Davidson's. I do know how to ride. I work-out at Curves 3x a week. I enjoy my life now.
What is your day like? Describe your daily routine.
I'm up at 5am every day. I usually get my daughter up around 7am. I'm at work by 7:30 am. I work at Hoopa Modular Building Enterprise in the accounting dept. I like my job. I usually get off work at 4pm, sometimes 5pm. M,W,F I work-out in the afternoon's. T & Th I rest!
I don't watch T.V. anymore. My evenings are spent with my daughter and homework and reading my bible or other devotional reading I might be working on at the time. 10pm is past bedtime.
What are some of your personal and spiritual goals?
My personal goals consist of being happy in my heart and my walk with the Lord. Making sure my daughter grows up secure and grounded.
Spiritually, I probably will begin work with Children's Evangilism Fellowship soon. I would like to bring God back into our community through the heart and eyes of the children. But I will only do what the Lord tells me to do.
