I am a Born-again Christian and enjoy being in church and/or with other Christians. Music is very much a part of my life. I play piano, guitar and love to sing. I enjoy Gospel, Some Country and Bluegrass Music. I was born and raised in the Mountains of West (by God) Virginia and have many 'old fashion' roots. I do wear shoes. I have been widowed since 2003 and really miss that wonderful companionship; however, I do not believe in living together without the benefit of marriage. I'm not looking for a one-night-stand. I enjoy fishing, swimming, boating(but not off-shore), traveling, a nice slow walk on the beach, or just sitting by the fireplace and snuggling. I love long talks (I like to talk and enjoy listening as well). I'm young at heart and love learning New Things. I have some college and am versatile.
I am certainly a family person. Having 5 grown kids and many grands, I enjoy their love and affection and shower them with the same. I believe in putting God first, my mate second,and family and friends following along real close.
My Ideal Person:
I am looking for a man who knows how to treat a woman and love her as Christ loved the church. Body type and size are not important to me, but I want my man to enjoy being smothered with lots of love. I love for a man to bring me flowers pick by the road side 'Just because'. He must love kids and animals. I don't want smoking in side the house, but if he smokes, I'll sit on the porch with him or help him learn how to quit(if He wants to). My man should be a happy person and respectful of other's feelings and forgiving.
