My Ideal Person:
(This man that I have found is all of this) I am looking for a man who is dedicated to serving the Lord and puts that first before any other relationship. I wish for him to have deep convictions and to be unwaivering in his faith. A mature christian. I seek someone who is funny and makes me laugh...someone who is articulate in expressing himself....someone who is kind hearted and likes children. Someone who accepts me.

Please describe your faith. How important is your faith to you?
It is impossible to please God without faith. So faith is very important to me because I love my Lord and want to please Him. I do not believe in a salvation of works but I do believe we were saved to do good works....Show me faith without works and I will show you a dead faith....show me your faith by what works you have done because of it and that is faith.

Which Scripture verses are most important to you?
"I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." "For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believes on him sahall be saved." I am a "whosoever!!"

Why is a Christian relationship so important to you?
I have been married more times than "my share"...we were unequally yoked. My husbands ...while professing to have faith...did not have the same faith that I have...Two of my husbands did not believe in God at all...and two were Catholic....which is not my professing faith. I am Baptist. Now my catholic husbands did not attend church...so I have to question how strong their faith was. But bottom line....I want a relationship that is based on God, and I want a relationship where there is a higher authority to answer to besides ourselves.

Where did you grow up? Where have you traveled? What are some of your favorite places to visit?
I grew up in Louisiana. I have traveled to Colorado, Washington state to visit family and numerous trips to Arkansas. I am the oldest of four children.

What are your favorite activities both at Church and outside?
I love to teach. I teach Sunday School and children's church. I also love to sing and I sing special music in church all of the time. This is very satisfying to me. I get to share my favorite songs with everyone. At home I like to work in my yard. I enjoy working my flowerbeds as well as just sitting outside beside my pond on my swing and feeding the fish in the pond. I enjoy swimming with my 13 year old daughter. She is the light of my life!

What is your day like? Describe your daily routine.
I get up at 6:00am and drive 35 miles into town to my church where my daughter goes to school and I work as a P.E. teacher and custodian. I also run an after school program. I get off work at 6:00PM and we drive home and fix supper and enjoy our evening at home....(most evenings) I also have a Mary Kay business and some nights (rarely anymore) I have business meetings or skin care classes. My daughter goes with me. On Wednesdays and Sundays I am in church.

What are some of your personal and spiritual goals?
I have taken a soul winning course and I am praying and planning to be a personal soul winner....on a one to one basis. There are so many lost people in this world that I come into contact with everyday and I am convicted that if I do not share the gospel with them....they may not hear it. I have a burden for lost souls but I feel that I have not done a good enough job at presenting the gospel to people so that they may be saved.
