I believe in love, a love that lasts forever. I know it's possible, and I know it's of God and from God.
To get an idea of who I am, I would tell you I am casually elegant. You won't find me on a Harley, but you might find me watching boats go in and out of the channel. You may even find me sitting near a bay or gulf or ocean peering into the horizon. I may be dreaming or praying or squinting into my future. In the day-to-day you may see me in a hurry and laughing about it. I can never find my keys the first time. I leave a trail of shoes behind me because I prefer to go barefoot. I like people better than chores, but I get to them. As much as I try to convince myself to go to the gym, I prefer to hike. I like a bright, sunny house. I don't like a cave-like environment. I hate conflict, but I enjoy communication. I'm creative; I'm usually learning something new or trying to get to "that book." I believe relationships take work and I'm not lazy, but I don't think they should be a strain. So, who am I looking for? I'm not looking; I'm just living and being open to what God may bring to my life.
My Ideal Person:
I appreciate a person who is open-minded, willing to listen to others, intelligent, creative--someone with a quick wit or natural sense of humor. A gentle and loving spirit goes a long way.

My faith is a part of my being. It's who I am, what I value, what I believe.
Which Scripture verses are most important to you?
John 17--Jesus's prayer in the Garden of Gethsemane. This one makes me cry every single time I read it.
I John 3:19 ff. for when I fail to hear the "voice of truth" and feel I'm an imposter in the Kingdom.

Why is a Christian relationship so important to you?
I know the spiritual significance of two committed people sharing a life that impacts others directly or indirectly.
What are your favorite activities both at Church and outside?
I like the music ministries and in-depth Bible studies the best.
